    I was frustrated on the first set on 4 zeros. Just have to assume the number of non zeros since the last substitution is even or odd.

    Incorrect explanation. It also depends upon the polarity of preceding pulse, weather it is negative or positive. If it is negative and odd, we will do 000-, if it is negative and even we will do +00+. Similarly, if it is positive and odd, we will substitute by 000+, and if it is positive and even, we will substitute with -00-.

      At 3:12 I do take into account the polarity of the preceding non-zero pulse... and assume it is negative. Later on I also take into account an assumption about whether the number of non-zero pulses since the substitution is even or odd. Your statements about cases "negative and odd", "negative and even", etc. are correct.

    I think you mix up the rules for Even and Odd. The way you are doing it will give you +2 DC lvl when u add up the "ones". I think it is supposed to even each other out.

    Thanks you alot! But i think you forget the assume that the number of nonzero pulse since the last substitution was odd. Btw, if it odd, "it plus 2 B" also is odd, you wrong!! It must be 000V.
    Can you explain for me with my opinion, thanks you alot if you do this.
    Some body agree with me??
