Next time, when you’re going to visit Adobe, can you ask them to bring back the light interface option in After Effects? Let me stress it: an option. That means that the user can choose. Like in Moho and Harmony.
In my view, describing and showing not only this tool's amazing capabilities, but also its limitations and work-arounds, speak highly of your professional integrity Jesús.
It might also be the first step in an evolution where DesignPixelm is no longer needed AT ALL... You're only usefull for as long as you can add some value to the process that can't be added in other/cheaper (usually by eliminating the human out of the loop)ways. That value has just gone down a notch.
Thank you in advance it is the best option. first, it took a very long time to remove and fix objects, but now it is very easy, when get it release the new update...
This is an amazing tool no doubt . I went back to some old images I had to see if the new Remove Tool would do a better job. The image was a rural church with clap board siding. There was a stop sign covering an exterior window, many power lines and telephone poles. The power lines crossed over that intricate clap board siding. I spent a great deal of time previously healing and cloning and cutting out pieces and pasting them over the offending areas. The Remove tool solved all that pain. One thing I did that seemed to help is not to paint over the entire object. For example, I would paint the stop sign top and remove and then the post separately. I did this with the telephone poles too. Maybe that was not necessary, but it seem to let the AI l just think about that small issue instead of the entire object. This is going to be a life saver in architecture retouching.
Excellent video as always. And impressive AI with the Remove Tool. Still wish Adobe could fix the Subject for hair. Biggest frustration. But this new tool is definitely a winner!!!
Hi, I have watched 4 or 5 tutorials on this tool now and thought it looked great. I assumed using the Beta download would be adding an extra tool into my current Photoshop but instead it down loaded a completely new program. I tried the tool and got a warning saying using this could have 'performance issues'. I have uninstalled this 2nd photoshop to prevent any future issues. None of the previous tutorials mentioned this 2nd programme so maybe my machine can't cope. It is a 6 year old iMac. Thank you for you videos they are very informative.
Yeah, the Beta is a separate installation. I guess most people who make videos wrongly assume that by mentioning Beta people will know it's a different install. I'll try to be more clear about that!
How to enable the remove tool. Please can u make a video to step by step showing how to enable it?. I seriously did understand it. Please make a detailed video.
Can you teach us how to make Fylers with digital background (What i mean about digital is that; like a base of Motherboard patten). I would be personally thankful if you can do it. 😍
I'm so much looking forward to this tool. I'm confident that it will be quite effective and efficient in restoring analog photos scanned from paper, slides or negatives. And I'm also imagining using this tool to create reference frames for After Effects' Content-Aware Fill. But I think it would be even more awesome to adapt this Remove Tool for After Effects. 🙂
Great - had a quick play with this tool and think it will be a well used go-to tool in future. When is it due to be released into full Photoshop (the beta version of Ps restricts my workflow setup via Loupedeck) ? Thank you for the thorough demonstration and mentions of its limitations
I downloaded it and I got a warning that my computer didn't have the power. Indeed it was very slow. I thought I had a decent computer. What it's recommended and will it be better once it comes out of beta?

Questions -- is the beta able to be used freely/no restrictions? And when do we think it would be released to the regular user not on beta? Thanks! Great tutorial!
I am so glad Adobe is focusing on the simplification of processes. So often, you hear LR users saying they want to avoid PS. But if the focus is on taking complex PS tools and making things ‘AI easy’, people will actually WANT to go to PS from LR more often. It’s all about the results…in the least amount of time. Thank you.
Looking forward to trying this out. Your textured shirt looked like the "marching ants" around your shoulders and I thought you were going all Inception. :-)
wew, to think that this tool only finally existed now when I had to use content awareness and clones tool all the time for years...felt like a slap to the face there for wasting so much time grinding on editing @_@ GGWP
As for the hair clean up, why should we still do it manually? It's high time to introduce a new filter, smth like the Dust&scratches, but with AI. Because the old one leaves artifacts, it's quite difficult to choose the appropritate settings. That's another suggestion I've posted on the forum, but nobody supported that... probably, people like to waste hours for manual cloning.
But aren't the art station luddites going to start protesting this channel now?? Aren't they going to start protesting Adobe because Adobe has AI tools now???

I just installed the Photoshop Beta and was able to remove distracting elements from an interior architecture photo that would have taken at least 1 hour before. I did it all in 5 minutes. Whoa!
It's wild how many cool new capabilities Adobe is introducing. I was at the Adobe Firefly mixer in Toronto today and I saw a demo for weaving an object through text characters.
Thanks for sharing this. Do you know if this and/or Firefly will be available in Adobe Elements? I can't afford monthly subscriptions to Photoshop so I still use CS6
Do they pay attention to the ideas on their forum at all? I've suggested about 30 improvements & features. Two of them were implemented though. A year ago I've posted a request about the Decontaminate colors option, which works destructively on the image layer, very stupid. And my request isn't even under review yet. I guess, you don't like the implementation of this option either. I want it to create a new clipped layer in Color mode. Сan you lobby for this?) 😉
