Reminds me of a moment I had with a friend while we were both looting a gun shop, he was doing wheelies for some reason in the parking lot while I was finishing up the looting. I tell him I'm leaving rn and I'm on the road out. It's the middle of the night and I don't have cats eye, so all I can see is what's in front of my single headlight. A bright flash to the left of my car, a loud crash and my screen goes black. My friend is dying of laughter and I'm raging because I think I'm dead as im trying to spam the buttons because it's not letting me make a new character. A moment later and my screen is back, the sound is back and my car is on its side and the horn is blaring. I turn the car off and eventually get out of the wreck but im over encumbered because of my wounds, long story short, I had to leave an entire trunk and backseats of guns and ammo and my entire duffle bag behind. Just to die later to a bite anyways lol
This is the first time I've actually heard kaif laugh so hard he cannot stop laughing .. 3 years of watching sr .. this is the first time ever I've heard he laugh that hard , haha I love it rlly cheers my day
When the server stopped loading the map due to the horde, just had memories of that Stargate Episode, where it erases whole parts of town and deletes the townspeople's memories due to power problems xD
just a hint, you may already know it, but I will say it anyways in this game, at night, if you flick a lightswitch on you have a chance of aggroing zombies, the aggro goes much farther than a shout aggro if I am not mistaken
I'm glad the sr group has gotten into zomboid. I mentioned it a year ago or so. Other then that if you guys ever open up a server I'd join just to teach some tricks n tips.
i doubt they are like that. kaif has consistently said "dont tell us, we're gonna experience it". a few bits of comments on both youtube vods and twitch streams they appreciate tho.
Honestly didn't think I'd be able to enjoy this game again after some bad experiences with the person who introduced me to it. Thanks Kaif for making the game fun again!
My friends were playing this and it instantly got me hooked. What really gets me is that even if you die, it's not like it's the end. And it's interesting finding your old self.

Honestly I wished I caught the streams to give out some advice on some of the scenarios cause a few things you encountered are actually very easy fixes you do ingame. 1 the road barricades can be picked up 2 the fence gate that was blocking you, you can actually destroy very easily with that hammer with a few swings, and sometimes you can literally just open it 3 a lightswitch at night can attract the horde due to a bug..... yeah no idea why it's only specifically at night 4 the radios are also bugged, voip doesn't work, and you have to yell ingame for it to send anything.... 5 so fun fact, the magnum is very quiet compared to other guns, instead of attracting the entire city, it attracts like 2-3 blocks worth of zombies 6 so there's a setting that's often overlooked in the settings, aiming gun overlap(i think it's called this), it's off by default and if you don't turn it on you will suffer with many missed shots at every range. Seriously you'll completely miss zombies that are in hordes if you don't turn this setting on
To answer the 3rd one, zombies don't actually get alerted to lights being turned on (as in the visible event of light being on where once was darkness); this hasn't been coded. Instead, how the devs circumvent this is to create a huge sound event that has a small chance to attract zombies closer to you, to 'simulate' zombies seeing the lights going on. This is why it only works at night (I think between 6 and 12 pm; because it's meant to simulate a light going off at night at alerting the zeds.
What i Desperatly want to see be added to this game is the option to Arm TF out of Cars. Imagine getting a Truck or a Jeep and installing a snow plow to it, or replacing the Glass windows for sheets of metal, maybe even throw in some spinning blades to the wheels, just be able to go god damn nuts with it. Imagine just walking along, and incomes a god damn Mad Max kitted out Truck that splatters through an entire horde like it's fkn Nothing.
This could be a movie. An entirely ludicrous, possibly incompetent team of zombie killers that somehow have hundreds and hundreds of kills, while going nuts over doughnuts and somehow losing a backpack entirely unwittingly.
if kaiff reads this put ur weapon on your hot bar slot 1 and the wrench in belt slot pick one not trying to back seat just backseating lol make your life easier
Kinda sad it looks like I didn’t get to see how they got to this point. Last I saw, Kaif had willingly died to zomgies alongside the others after having walked in circles for ages. Now he has a car, has guns, and stuff and things

Found the backpack, at 2:48:20 Kaif tries to put some alcohol wipes in his backpack and instead puts the whole bag inside one of the hospital drawers

This is based on CDDA and that game has ridiculous armoured cars so I'd assume it'll be added eventually
