One night in 2019 i lost all my faith in my religion. I went on vacation the next morning. I cried for two weeks straight. I had to confront reality without the faith that helped me so much. One day driving to work i was listening to this song and when the line about things can never stay the same so what is keeping you here i broke down. Im so glad this song doesnt hurt anymore.

When I was 10,11 my grandpa used to show me jack johnson, and I allready knew him a bit because of upside &down and that album. 6 years ago when I was 17, we had a bad relationship because of my drug abuses and lazyness. Last week, I wrote him a letter and gave him a CD whit this song and apologied for all my mistakes. He accept it and told me, that he‘s know happy and ready to die after a long battle against cancer. I will allways keep this song in my mind because of all that. Thank you jack for this music. Prayers go out for all those who fight against cancer, may god bless your sweet souls
