Also, I noticed that for Nacho and Pavard's goals at the World Cup, their plant foot was significantly angled to the outside. They both struck the ball when it was relatively high in the air, so does the angle of the plant foot change with the height of the ball, or is that just a different technique altogether?

Herbi D if you want to practice atw's and freestyle, i dont think that u are going to get better with a smaller ball because you'll get used to doing it with the size 4 and it will only be harder for you. if you want to practice juggling only, i think it will help you with getting better at juggling the size 5 because its harder to juggle with a smaller ball.
Is it really necessary for the planting foot to be pointed at the target? I am a very good shooter and I don't think my standing foot lines up with the target.
Ask any top striker in the world, they will tell you that the cleanest and most accurate strikes require planting foot pointing towards your target. You may be “very good” as you said right now, but improving your technique may change that to excellent 👍
