Never got past the pirate ship at 11:31 as a kid. Got lost too many times on that level and gave up, cool to see I only ever got about half way through the game.
You can actually kill the boss in the caves (8:05) faster, on that boss you can use the same trick which is used on the last non-boss lvl of the forest zone (4:41), you can make a wall jump using the left side of the screen, it is tricky but I've found out it and done it multiple times as a kid.

Это значит, что автор мог по кадрам проходить игру, используя перемотку времени/сохранения/замедление времени. возможно вообще под каждый уровень написан скрипт в какой момент нажимать какую-то кнопку. тут почти каждый момент 1-фрейм скипание препятствий. даже задрот так не пройдет

I played this game as a kid, took me like a year to beat it. Glad to see it can also be beat in 20 minutes...

I could not pass the lake stage as a kid
took me about a week to beat it the first time i played it, then next i beat it in a day, didn’t think it could be beaten in minutes

It's a Sonic game, just w/o spindashing, time limit, and heavily abused physics. Wait, that sounds like a lot missing from a sonic game....
