Find a company that will pay you good and treat you good. Don’t let these companies mistreat you. There’s always another company that’s willing to hire. Drive two years with somebody else and then buy your own truck with good down payment and some money saved up in your emergency fund

People selling a used glider W900L Studio Sofa Sleeper are asking for way too much money. You might as well buy one brand new with full warranty and also purchase an extended warranty as well. An extended warranty is well worth the money in the long run if you’re planning on keeping the truck beyond the original manufacturer warranty. I refuse to buy a used truck from the owner or a dealer. I can’t put my trust in that anymore. So I buy brand new. I’m waiting to see what the economy will be after the election is fully over in January and see in February or March and see if there is any difference in a positive way of the economy. If there isn’t an uptick then I will wait. I won’t waste my time on cheap freight and overpriced trucks and trailers. I miss the 6-8 dollar a mile produce and meat loads going cross country.
Me personally, I would rather buy that used glider W 900 than a brand new one. New trucks are full of electronic nonsense and of course you have def system which can cost a fortune if it breaks down. Even if you do have warranty, it can still take a long time to fix all that stuff. And the biggest plus for glider trucks is paper logs. We all like different things, buddy and I totally understand your point about buying brand new. I never had a pleasure of getting one of them loads for 6 to 8 dollars a mile because I just bought this reefer I think in March. High paying loads like they were doing the Covid will never be back unfortunately unless there is another Covid like thing. They will come back to pre-Covid rates, but will never be like they were doing Covid.

I never got the hang of it when I was in trucking is it the RPM you have to watch drove a Pete just like you 389 I love it
Look at the RPM but if you know the truck, you don’t even need to look. I usually go by engine sound.
