The question, as stated here, remains why oh why does the genius musician who is Andy Bell knock about with Oasis and Beady Eye. I totally agree that RIDE were head and shoulders above both these bands. However, everyone belongs to their time. Ride were around when I was a teenager. Those who were teenagers around the time of Oasis will never agree with me. I wish he would play with Mark, Loz and Steve again. I get the idea it will never happen =(

He had been in love with Them since definitely maybe and have always been an inspiration to him. 2. Oasis in 1999 were in desperate search for a new bass player after Paul Guigsy McGuigan left earlier that year and WHEATHER YOU DISRESPECT/ACCEPT?HATE it or not, it was either Andy or the end of Oasis and the 100 percent loss of ALL THEIR PRECIOUS FANS. :( 3. Believe it or not, Andy Bell said that Oasis is SOOO MUCH BETTER THAN RIDE. LOOK IN THE COMMENT SECTION OF THE UA-cam VIDEO, RIDE LIVE AT GLASTONBURY 1994 FULL FOR PROOF. NEED I SAY MORE?!
I find it absiolutely amazing that this guy is happy to string along as the bassist for Oasis and then Beady bl**dy Eye when Ride are an ocean depth better than both. Commercially acceptable may be not but the Ride albums are SO much better(!) Mark Gardener - do you agree?!

The brilliant guitarist of Ride plays bass for Oasis and Liam.
This is another of the many reasons one can guarantee there is no god.
Not hating on Oasis, but they have absolutely nothing on Ride. What a shame he has to play tag-along with Liam...
