Making Guide Sheets with Inkscape

Some of you have requested guide sheets to help you with your handwriting practice. Since there are a whole range of handwriting styles, the best solution seemed to be to show you how to use a free program to make your own custom guide sheets.

I don’t know if you are still checking your UA-cam videos, but if you do, I'd like to thank you SO MUCH for doing this tutorial for Inkscape. It is the only one around. While there are a lot of guidesheet generators, I wanted to do something very particular and was able to do it thanks to you. I needed to make a blank notebook page (with lines) and knew Inkscape was up to the task, but couldn't figure out a way to space them consistently until I stumbled upon your tutorial. Thank you for posting, it was a lifesaver for my project!!!

Tip for the divider: make another line in white with the size you want at the bottom to create the bottom, so you dont need to resize in %

I have a similar sheet with each CJ Roundhand letter in a line for practice, no descenders or slant lines, though, but it's the one I'm using: pdfhost.io/v/77eyXwfYB_CJ_Roundhandpdf.pdf
