i love hayabusa i have busa too amazing bike fantastic is going very eazy 299 klm very eazy i try many times for me is the best i love it is awesome is magic ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
Clasic 600cc idiot rider. Someone should tell this guy that the busa has a monster torque also, and he can do some pulls in 6th gear also. Riding the bus in 1st gear it's just stupid, and he even felt proud about it and post it online 😂
The bike is a Legend for a reason. Trust me don't want to change the looks cuz the aerodynamics are perfect just like the Falcon they designed it from. Its made to cut wind! Speedo you can keep track w analog. A digital be all over the place. If you want a different version grab a B King. The bike is gentle unless you want to get stupid. You'll get white knuckles if you want to get crazy. Once you get going its smooth, the weight you don't really notice. Try riding a gold wing like me@16. Now that's a big bike. Anyways just like a vette, Mustang, Camaro. You don't need to change them to much.
The styling looks amazing even after 20 years, they hit a homerun with the design. It's like the Gibson Les Paul or the Fender Stratocaster guitars... Perfection!
Warning, do not let this guy ride your motorcycle, he rants it in first gear and just simply refuses to change up through the gearbox, what an annoying video and indeed rider.
You're hesistating to change gears even if the road is free?😊 it's gonna ruin the transmission if you just cruise in 1st and 2nd gear. You should learn to get angry on the throttle sometimes, don't let a bike overwelm you, ride it like it's just nothing to your skill and also learn to intimidate other riders, sometimes it's a must do.
Styling changed in 2008.. not by a lot but it did change. ( UK ) does this man ever change up through the gears ? This thing has loads of torque, by the bucketful..
The 600 is a great starter bike & that’s what I got when I 1st learned how to ride but after 8 months to a year I realized that I couldn’t keep up with my friends so I had to upgrade & got my 2018 BMW S1000RR. I definitely wouldn’t recommend a 1000cc bike for any1 who’s just starting to learn how to ride bc it’s way too much power for a beginner. At least that’s what I believe from my experience with bikes.
My gosh why not shift? That bike could do high gear at 2000 rpm and still pull away strong. I have a old 88 Suzuki 1100 Katana and can ride through town in high then pull up to highway speed without any problem. :)
Did the bike feel comfortable where you could do distance on it? I've read that the bike is pretty good sport touring. Also, did it have three power mode settings?
The bike felt good, it does have sport geometry and you will be bent over on it. However, you can add risers to the clip ones which would make this an awesome sport touring bike. It’s also a heavy bike which adds stability over long distance on the highway. Also, yes there are 3 different power modes to choose from.
Clip ons look lower than my 2000 had. But the Busa is a beautiful bike for sport touring. I put 34000 miles on mine and I was 50 at the time so you know the ergonomics are comfy.
I had bought two of these new, an 05 (1st gen) and an 08 (1st of the 2nd gen). They were night and day from a power and especially handling perspective. It was heavier than a smaller size CC bike as he pointed out ad nauseum but the 08 would shed the weight once in motion and I never had troubles in curves... yeah, no chicken strips on those tires. You didn’t even get to really experience the power that thing had either, barely a taste. Acceleration so forceful you can feel the g force literally push your eyes back in your head... you other busa owners know what I’m saying! Lol
The Busa does not give you full power in 1,2 and 3 until you open the throttle full, so you didn't even get in forth to feel the grunt this thing has. Shocking test ride......
You should have done some reading about the bike firs before riding. At 50 mph you should have slowed down a bit. Shifted back to first and screwed on that throttle some. The front end would have come straight off the ground. Shifted to 2nd. Kept the right hand turned. Just by doing those two things would have given you a whole new outlook on the Hayabusa! After doing that. You would have taken it back to the dealership and purchased it right then and there! Gone out bought some handle bars the rise up about 3/4 of an inch. Takes pressure off your back. Then it becomes a touring bike. I’ve put over a 1000 miles in one day on the Hayabusa.
illproducer I’ve been riding motorcycles since 1964. I purchased my first Harley in 1966 brand new. In 2008 I had 9 different Harleys in my garage & my Hayabusa. My oldest bike at that time was my 1999 Harley Fatboy. Has an S&S super sidewinder 124 Ci motor in it. I was into cars and motorcycles back then. I had 3 Acura NSX-s in my shop
Make no mistake, this bike still owns every other bike out there. You should try a tuned one with an Akropovic exhaust and a power commander. It screams! You’re a bit shy on it, but I don’t blame you. After all, it’s a rocket. Fun video bro
If I give you a mechanical watch, would you be able to tell the time or is that too old school? My first bike had to be kick started. That would completely blow your mind.
"Its pretty heavy" our gear box allergic man keeps telling us. Does he even know what cruiser bikes weigh? The busa is awesome and although its a sport bike it also competes in the tourer market and should not be compared to 1000cc sport bikes for weight.
You kept calling it a cruiser, lol. That’s the King of Super Sport bikes. It’s heavier, but a good rider will rip that thing in the twisties! Also, always shift through the gears, that’s what they’re there for.
Thanks for the insight. Yes, this is truly the king of super sports and it handles great for its size and weight! And yes I got flamed 🔥 in the comments for not shifting, now I know! Lol
Just switch to at least 2 or 3rd gear!!! Stop torturing that engine! Just because u can get to 100 mph doesn’t mean it’s healthy and economical to drag it in 1 gear.
I never understand why new/novice riders like to hang onto the first three gears....? Why would u be on the highway at a steady pace in 2/3 gear when the bike has six.........? Do you want to burn all that fuel, have all that unnecessary stress on the engine....? I guess it’s not your bike. One way to tame such a beast of a bike, if your a bit wary of it on a ride (which clearly u are as the minivan flying past indicates), is to actually have it in a higher gear..... ?
Dude I gave you a thumbs down. Because you're clogging as if you're new to motorcycles. Stop saying, for one, the busa has old gauges. We know! It's like a Mercedes Benz Maybach classic.
Demo rides are just demos...rarely ever get a chance to open up any of the bikes they have. Last demo ride I was on I couldn't even open it up on a ninja 650
i love hayabusa i have busa too amazing bike fantastic is going very eazy 299 klm very eazy i try many times for me is the best i love it is awesome is magic ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
The one cool feature on the Hyabusa is that it actually has a shiftable transmission.
HAHAHA he loves first!!!!
What an absolute pathetic rider in this video 10 minutes of no effin idea how to ride a hayabusa : stick to a moped no gear changes needed

SHIFT!! who demos a bike in first the whole time. You can lug that motor it's got a thing called torque
No electronics just throttle, brake, clutch just the way I like it
Man, shift the damned thing!!
At 70mph in 6th my 2000 Busa got close to 50 mpg. Amazing engine. And if you bring up the rpm, shift up another gear and then cut the throttle.
Bro. You’re holding the gears too long. The RPM are too high. Please shift and go to the next gear. This is a Busa, not a 600.
inexperienced ride on hayabusa
Yeah it's an old school. No electronics nothing just pure raw power. Not everyone's bike to be honest.
you're on a Hayabusa and you get passed by a minivan on the highway........I don't think that has ever happened to me while I've been on mine.
The Monk Hahahaha
Lol 😂

Dude, I think a automatic scooter is more your speed :)
Even better, I purchased an Ebike!
AMAZING BIKE I LOVE IT THE BEST EVER I HAVE A HAYABUSA TOO IS MAGIC

Hasnt been the same for 20 years. There was a body style change in 2007. I had a 2005 (in my pic).
I could wheelie with no clutch (power wheelie) in the first 3 gears.
i have one.. 2007/2008 gen1 blue/gray
Why don't you shift?
Why say how heavy it is repeatedly and then NEVER talk about how it does at slow speed in a corner?
Have you tried changing gear..? 😀
If it's awesome, why all the cars were passing you on the freeway?
Great video! Love the content, and your in-ride narrative is smooth and natural...thanks for posting!
My gosh why not shift? That bike could do high gear at 2000 rpm and still pull away strong. I have a old 88 Suzuki 1100 Katana and can ride through town in high then pull up to highway speed without any problem. :)
I guess I was used to my R6 shift patterns as it likes to rev high, so I tend to stay in low gears a lot because both my bikes like to rev
IS MAGIC I LOVE IT
Yes, it’s a legendary bike!
Y'all are going way too hard on this guy lol
Nobody cares about this guy! We worry about Busa he kept choking with that 1st gear riding. So painful to watch.
Demodays but they don't allow you to film... wtf is wrong with their marketing team lol
Muppet, the Gen 2 came out in 2008 not the 90's
You should do another review after learning how to shift a liter bike. Then I want to hear your review.
Yes, I realized I didn’t shift from all these comments, I have learned! I just made another review of the Kawasaki z900rs on my channel where I shift!
illproducer people can be brutal! All good bro, enjoy the ride! Thanks for sharing, not sure if you heard that much with all these critics. Lol
What do you use to record where you can be heard so well
I use a GoPro and a Sony mic. I will make a video of my set up
Dude knows zero about Busas
Shift fool! It’s not your 600!
Another dumbass on a Hayabusa should be on a moped

With only a few mods, mainly lowering pegs the busa is a good touring bike. My longest day was 1200miles in 18hrs.

Man if I don't put my feet on the pegs quick its a struggle against the G forces I love my 2019 Busa
Never once looked at the hayabusa a said that looks old
The Busa does not give you full power in 1,2 and 3 until you open the throttle full, so you didn't even get in forth to feel the grunt this thing has. Shocking test ride......
Why ride the highway in 2nd gear at 7k rpm’s? Why wouldn’t you shift
is it able to make hayabusa semi automatic without clutch?
In the back of hayabusa is gone that's only I love

It's not old school bike they did a body change in 2008
Now let me ride..so I could show what it can do 😂

man if you drive my 2000 busa you shit your pants iam sure lol....

Apparently not at the time of this video. I have an updated ride with the 2022 Hayabusa vid though you can see if I made any improvements
The troll rattles on it doesn’t really say anything 👎
Sorry!
That's a 2019
Change up man, change up - OMG - riding in first is just plain silly, plus dangerous given the power of the thing and no traction control
Sport tourer
You’re on a Hayabusa and you did not open up a little to test the power.
Trust me I wanted to, but they have rules at the demo ride
Demo rides are just demos...rarely ever get a chance to open up any of the bikes they have. Last demo ride I was on I couldn't even open it up on a ninja 650
