Need How To Help Fixing Something ANYTHING Drop A Comment I'll Show U How To Get It Done MY WAY And Shout U Out
This is probably one of my favorite DIY videos. When I can laugh out loud and learn something at the same time, it's a win in my book. Your boys got moves too.
I have a black Texas edition Silverado just like yours, the trim is bowing on BOTH the extended doors just like this.. Got it washed the other day and noticed it was barely hanging on at the bottom this morning, pulled it off the rest of the way and came across your video. I didn't have a CLUE what to do but I think I can handle this myself! Thank you so much for taking time to make this video! Love from H-TOWN!
Use your "girl power," you got this! Let me know how it turns out ... Much love back to H-Tine!
Tim TwoThree Jones I sure will, thank you!!
Ty... I just did mines for my 2012 GMC sierra Front drivers side door panel.. It worked like a glove..
Dude. You made my day with this absolutely hilarious how-to video. Thank you!
This was the most entertaining repair video I have ever watched! I love that your boys were right there with you learning some skills.
Hilarious, entertaining, and informative. As real as it gets.
Run a tape line to align the trim, no guesswork. Also, leave the tape backing on, remove a couple of inches and attach, then as you pull the backing off the trim will attach without the nervousness. Do the same for the top and bottom. Just leave a tab of the backing sticking out.
So glad I found this! Thanks for the demo!! Texas heat and Denali molding don’t mix. Your a great Dad too!!!!!
Thanks Bill ! Love my boys .. and Texas weather is no joke
Preciate this video folk. My molding on my yukon denali is starting to come off & I was trying to figure out how to repair it.
No doubt! I gotcha. You be back riding clean in no time.
That was the most enjoyable "How To video ever...!"
Hilarious! Funniest damn "how to" video I've seen. You're a funny dude. Oh... them kids got moves, bruh!
Thanks for posting this videos man I just got me a 97 Bravada and the rear door moldings on both sides are coming off and didn’t know exactly how to fix them. I got the idea now. 👍😎
Your video is very cool and funny! Hey i am doing trim on a 1999 jeep xj cherokee. Its very similiar to your chevy that uses 3m tape to hold the molding in place. Yes it took hours with goop off to get old tape off the molding and the car. I then carefully applied the 3m tape. But I noticed before i took the 3m red backing off, as I was matching it up to the vehicle the molding was warped and bowed a bit so it didn't quite match the vehicle. I tried to put it on anyway and it popped back off on the ends as it was bowed. I then tried putting super glue on the ends to hold it against the vehicle but that didn't work either. Moral is make sure the trim fits the body or use a hair dryer etc to get it to fit BEFORE taking the red backing off. DONT use super glue it won't work. Now I have a mess to clean up! Still enjoyed your video.
Good looks... to be honest this is actually one of the better videos on the topic. Too many cats do way too much talking. You get down to business.
Thanks man. Nice vid! I'm gonna try this myself this weekend on my 05' Yukon XL. Finger's crossed. 😬

The double side 3M in the new trims and moldings are not sticky at all. We have to add more or use liquid adhesive 😢

Probably could have use masking tape to make sure that the line up is level?
Couple questions. Has this held up and not started peeling again? What width tape you use?
Good video
To this day there has been no issues, looks great. Need to do my right rear door it's doing the same .. cant remember the size tape tho, my bad playa
It was thin bout an inch in width
Tim TwoThree Jones cool. I got half inch, I’ll bring it back and get 7/8

So sick and tired people dinging my door every few months no matter where I park, I park on the end, away from the crowd, but sometimes when in a rush for time I park close to the crowd a few times, and it just happens whenever I do that, I get dinged.
