There. SNK need to remake The Last Blade. As much as I like Samurai Shodown, The Last Blade was even better.

I remember fighting an expert hanzo, guy first makes a fireball, then runs towards you, if you jump, he counters you in the air, if you block, he grabs you then comboes you, if you attack, he does teleports away and repeats the process. It's the most frustrating fight since hit tactics and hit and run. I countered him by using the flame guy, filling up my fire element meter, grabbing him then shooting him with the fireball. If he jumps, I do the arial combo. It was a memorable fight. This was on samurai showdown 3.
Maybe you are speaking about ss4.
Is there where Hanzo is very hard to defeat.
He set up a fireball, if u blocked.. he had you with either his driver or the combos... I agree bit I think that was ss4... my favorite ninja was damn near an immortal...

It was 1994 when i first played this game...glad i grow up on the coolest eras of arcade gaming...
As the battle goes on, they got blood stained... Nice touch for this version. Still in love with SS2 in Neo Geo with that awesome arcade stick.
The game play on SS2 was exceptional!
SNK cabinets were amazing for that time. Rarely ever had incorrect inputs

MAN I'M DISSAPOINTED CAUSE MY FAVORITE CHARACTER WAS UKYO, NO ONE COULD OF BEATEN ME WHEN I USE UKYO CHARACTER , BUT STILL IT WAS NICE TO SEE THIS, IT BRINGS BACK ALOT OF MEMORIES ESPECIALLY WITH THE NEO GEO JOY STICK. MUCH LOVE AND RESPECT.

I like Genjuro, the Ninja with electric power and the fire Samurai. I forgot their names, this is one of the oldest arcade games. I use to play this along with Last Blade too.

It’s a glitch in the game. In the first round Hanzos spiral fireball went through nikko instead of doing damage and it happened again in the third round

Actually, Shizumaru is the version of kenshin himura in samurai shadown, although later the creators mentioned that they were based more on kurama of yu yu hakusho

This is the only game to truly ever come close to Street Fighter, as far as style, and game design. I always wanted Capcom to grab the rights to this one. I thought they could really make it perfect.
