2:50 I think the carburetor spacer with coolant running through it is intended to stabilize the carb temperature. If as claimed they were cooling the crankcase they would have used an oil cooler.
I just love those polite 'dong' audio queues that instruct the presenter to advance the screen. I also love the car as well, of course. Those mini-queues take me back to elementary school video presentations.
@@kennethsouthard6042 They are so slick. I watched this ad because currently I know of one for sale. I already have a '96 Collectors Edition Corvette Convertible in storage and a SUV. I do not need another car, yet this one has working power windows, driver's seat, factory AC, and original radio. It doesn't have any body side moulding so the design looks swiftly elegant. Although I've owned a Diamond Blue '60, the Bullet Birds always catch my eye. I think I'm going to break down and call in it tomorrow. If I don't I'll kick myself for at least trying to get it. 🙏🏾❤️🐦⬛'s!
@@solemandd67 My parents didn't like the 63s so they decided on a 62 in that color combination after the 63s had just come out. Consequently, they were forced to take whatever was left. So ours did not have any power options at all and did not have A/C.
I'm gonna take this video down to my Ford dealer and order one , I'm convinced! metallic light blue exterior, light blue interior , white top 390 M code 3 deuces

The '62 is my favorite Bullet Bird, especially in Raven Black with ⚫ vinyl/leather interior. Thanks for posting. 👍🏾
We have a survivor in that color combination in my family that my parents bought new.

Wow... I was 8 years old and these were cruising the streets and highways of the times...
Imagine having one of the limited production models now! ✌☺
My first car. Learned more about it today!
The Bullet Bird. Drop dead gorgeous. The prettiest and roomy of the Thunderbirds versus my 57 E Code T-Bird. I want one and need one.

Sounds like the one I sold six years ago, except it didn't have a white top.
Dang, this make 1961s sound crummy.
Check out the 1963 strip
I'll take one!
This is my dream car to buy if i had money for it
Some how I like the 1970 T-Bird it just seems to be a fine bird.
Where were you in 62?
The moral to this story is don't buy a piece of shit 1961 thunderbird! 62's are 200% better!
Now gentlemen. Of course they are going to tout a new and improved model. That is why I am buying a 63.
