Healthcare should not be a privilege, rather it should be the right of every Malaysian. The whole healthcare system should be re visited and revised. You are right, change should be done now and not delayed. The solution is multi prong and root cause of this problem should be looked into. Just like how we do it in functional medicine. A national health insurance scheme, private public cooperations, emphasis on preventive health as well as lifestyle, better continuous care, better control of medical cost inflation. All the above and more to create a sustainable healthcare system for Malaysians

In fact, when you buy a high-end imitation in kislux and walk on the street, no one will care whether you have a fake or not, so why not?. kislux

Interesting. Appears that many of our problems are that of having a poor moral compass. In this case, the private hospitals are the biggest culprits (just too many cases of exorbitant charges)!. Good point @52.18, reprising should be done based on all portfolios. Agree, rebates and benefits should be accorded eg NCBs & on death before age of policy. In the case of co payments, there would be those that may not seek treatment due to not being able to afford copayments and will be on the losing end though they have policies
