imo astraea only makes sense in dungeons and only master mode
in normal dungeons, you don't need this much ehp, you'll struggle on f7 if you rush hyperion no matter what, and even then the main struggle there is true damage so raw ehp is doing absolutely nothing
then outside of dungeons, instead of throwing away 400 intelligence for like 30-50% more ehp, you can get refrigerate enchant on wither goggles and that doubles your ehp while sacrificing only 100 intelligence

Finally refrigerate is getting some love, Its cracked for ehp and worth the 100 mana loss
@@knos2938 yeah, you do like 2-3% less damage and gain 2x ehp when using infernal aurora, literally why wouldn't you use it?
Maybe some could argue that legion is better gor storm in dungeons though
The only thing is that like you said for mm the hyperion is useless because you arch and it is only used for healing and it can get annoying and expensive to change so me personally I just keep it as astrea.

Hi. The reason why people choose to use hyperion instead of Astrea is usually because of how Dungeons make the INT multiplication very HIGH.
On the other hand DEF multiplication is also Insanely high maybe even bigger. But inside dungeons You Lose around 1k Int if you don't have a Hype. Astrea is still used by people that play tank tho and maybe wanna level mage or something like that.
TLDR: Both are very good and neither is better. Each has their ups and downs.
my personal opinion is that Astrea is more versatile and Hype does more DPS.
astrea is used as rcm in master mode too
The reason why players mid/late-game w/ Hype is because they have the coin & skill levels to tweak their armor, pets, & MP. If you switch to melee or arch for slayers or whatever, then you really want that extra mana from Hype when you swap. Also, refrigerate is insanely good & +T3 Kuudra armors make Necron & Storm feel like niche slayer armor in the overworld. Overall Dungeons become a much smaller part of the game the more you progress.
if you cant survive with hype outside of mastermode, worst case scenario you have to put refrigerate on all of your armour which would make you lose the same amount of intellegence but give you 4000 defense
Finally a UA-cam that appreciates astraea. Also, it would be nice if you could Play a kuudra run with Hype and then one with astraea

I can really see it from both sides but reallisticly you can get refrigerate and put a manaflux done at the begining of whatever you are doing for the defence and you are set

What is your goal from the minions? EXP? money? collection?
Why do you need redstone? If you are still getting accessory bag slots you’re still early game. You should focus on slime minions for money or melon/clay/fishing for respective skill exp

And there are many things like the fragged Yeti sword which is way cheaper and very efficient for the first Master Modes
Hype can heal tho, I guess you can argue that you could use a zombie sword but it's just more convenient to heal while you attack

There are many other places where you could spend that money for better survivability or damage
