This song fits Starscream so well. The poor guy was constantly abused and betrayed. He tried so hard to gain the approval of his peers. Every time he thought he got any, he'd be kicked in the teeth, time and time again. He couldn't understand why, however once he joined the Autobots, he discovered a side to himself that he didn't know he had. A side to him that his former peers resented. He had compassion. Unfortunately, he decided to repress it as it kept getting in his way for justice of what was done to him. In doing so, he ended pushing away his new friends and went back to the abuse that he had once tried to escape from. He forced himself to become what the others would accept, but it still wasn't enough. He was still belittled, and beaten. However, when Unicron revealed himself and revealed what he was capable of, Starscream could no longer suppress who he truly was and betrayed his leader one last time. Not out of hate, but out of desperation. He was terrified of Unicron and his only concern was his people as a whole no matter the side they were on. He made the choice to willingly give up his life to save them all. At the end of his life, his compassion became the light in Cybertron's darkest hour. He became the greatest hero his people would ever know.
This was an Incredible Masterpiece for My All Time Favorite Version of Starscream in The Transformers Franchise and Michael Dobson is an Incredible Successor for The Late Chris Latta (1949 - 1994).
