I bought a rentech tuning dongle 3k transformed the car to approx 680bhp.

@@Specialbrown99 What made me go AMG GTR, #1 rarity, style and the engine. the Porsche GT3 are awesome cars but where I live everyone has them so they are not rare by any means you can easily do a search and see very few AMG GTR versus the abundance of GT3 on the market. Prices are also better on the AMG now to buy since the Porsche market is still inflated. so a comparable year 911 GT3 would cost an easy 25-30k more than the GTR and the GTR will blow the doors off the GT3 on the street and most tracks with the power and a good driver. I tend to go for unique cars and I absolute love the AMG GTR it was a car I wanted since new and it impresses me every time I drive it what an animal it is.

@@autofanaticcars really appreciate you answering, i just watched your first impression video on yours. Congrats. I stay in Long Island. Not too far from you I believe and all of my friends drive gt3s, it’s definitely a popular choice. I currently have an f8 spider that i dont want to put too many miles on so figured the 6 speed and rear engine placement would offer somewhat of a completely opposite experience. After driving one it’s definitely still an option but not the exact experience im looking for. Not looking for a burnout monster by any means but i love how lose and controled the f8 can be at times. The gt3 has low torque, way too much grip and the high pitched drone could definitely be annoying at times. So im going to scheduled a test drive for a renntech gtr. Also brooklyn auto sales has a c63 black series. Would love to take a look at that as well.

It doesn’t have the same engine as a C63S or E63S. Completely different. For a start the AMG GT cars are dry sump with heavily reworked internals. The only thing that’s the same is the block and that’s it!
