  • Apologize for delay on new video, busy week family birthdays, and was wondering why the quality of my videos were not higher (so I was experimenting with editing). Should be fixed now let me know if you can tell a difference. Thank you all for watching and special thank you to everyone who has subscribed!

    Amazing ride brother. Really enjoyed this one. Weather looked perfect.
    I was catching up on some of your past videos and I have a couple of questions for you.
    1. Was the R7 your first bike or did you have riding experience prior to owning it?
    2. Did you break in your 750 according to the manual or were you high on the revs from the very start?
    Keep producing quality content and ride safe. You look like you have your resolutions issues worked out now.

      I really appreciate the support boss! and yes
      1. The r7 was my first bike ever, never rode before, but I did take the MSF course before I got my license.
      2. 2. Kinda sort of, for the first 100 or so miles I babied the bike, after that I still followed the rpm limits but pushed them a little over what the manual said.... mooremafia says you do NOT need to baby the bike and he has been riding wayy longer than me. but i tried to follow the manual for break in period as much as possible! hope this helps!

      @@gsxrveli Helps immensely. Thanks for the quick feedback.
      Reason I ask about the break in is because your motor sounds extremely healthy compared to some of the other GSXR750 videos I've watched recently. I think you scored a good one and were wise to break it in that way you did. Concerning Moore Mafia, do you have any plans to have him flash your ECU in the future?
      With regards to the R7, do you feel like you learned a good bit in those first couple thousand miles on the lower powered bike? Do you think you could have started with the 750 or would have you found it more intimidating with nearly double the power?

      @gsxrveli  Рік тому

      @@bfactor I'm glad it helps!
      Yes i plan on getting a full exhaust from M4 or Brock's Performance, and at the same time a flash from moormafia! can't wait for that!
      My only regret is not keeping the r7 long enough to truly learn how to corner! when I go to the twisties with the guys everyone destroys me, and I am more hesitant to lean with a heavier ,more expensive bike. The r7 was only like 15 or so pounds lighter but you can really feel that in the turns,
      so I do wish I perfected riding a bit more before I got the 750, but I just put it in B mode and keep practicing!

      @@gsxrveli Awesome feedback! Thank you very much.
      Look forward to seeing your bike develop with the exhaust and tune. Moore Mafia know what they're doing. Honestly, you live so close to his operation in South Carolina that you may want to consider making a day of it and riding up there to have him custom dyno tune it for optimal performance. It would be worth it for the best power and air/fuel results plus it would give you a chance to bond with the bike. Maybe find some twisty back roads for the route home?
      In case you haven't seen it this guy just recently had him install the Brock full exhaust and dyno tune it. Went from 119hp to 133hp. Solid numbers. I think he sells the Brock exhaust direct through his shop or you can order it and drop shop it to him so it's there for installation. Something to consider.

      @@bfactor No problem!
      And I have seen that video, the bike sounds soooo good after chris does his magic and the full exhaust!! that will be exactly what happens i will take to his shop and let him do both the exhaust and flash, really can't wait for it hopefully will have some free time coming up soon to get it done!
      man i would love to get 133hp out of her, cant even image what that will be like!

    It’s a 750 he just needs to shift the gear. I mean it has a 14.5 rev limit but I don’t ride mines like that unless I’m racing or doing pulls. A 1000 does not sound like that at all.

    Just a question. Is it better to ride the bike in a high gear? Cuz I notice that’s how you do it kinda🤷🏽‍♂️

    • @BlackHammerr07
      @BlackHammerr07 Рік тому

      Or do you have a reason for it? Just curious lol

    • @gsxrveli
      @gsxrveli  Рік тому +1

      Great question, and I do not think it is better or worse(especially with the newer bikes). If you have an older bike keeping the rpm's from going too high might be a good idea, which means shifting to a higher gear earlier. But I like to use up all the rpm's, especially since the GSXR really wakes up around 11k. So I try my best to get the power out of every gear. So I really just listen to my bike and she yells and tells me when its time to shift, and yes sometimes I do stay in a high gear (sometimes by accident when paying attention to traffic or a car I think might merge in my lane). Hope this helps!

      It really does man, it will jerk you back no matter what gear if your not easy with that throttle, just an angry machine man. I love it!
