  • We picked up this GIant 1200 Telescopic loader from Love Power Equipment. A couple phone calls got it delivered to the house on a Saturday. We tested it out on some small jobs, definitely need to get the new grapple for it. The one in this video was just a grapple we found lying around at Tims's shop.

Ive had mine for 7 years... only had to replace a throttle cable.
We use it daily... all day. I keep up on service... if i would recommend anything to do... We take the rear metal grill off and blow out the radiator every oil change.... Its a grear machine. We run a branch manager claw...we also have foam filled all the tires . I'm still running the original rears... and on 2nd set of fronts. Full time tree service.

That's an awesome machine I run a 254 at work. It takes some getting used too, but if you depress the left pedal and give it gas it allows you to run the boom functions faster. You can't move but gets the bucket into position quicker. a little quirk I've seen is that sticks can sometimes end up underneath the gas pedal causing it to move when you don't want it to lol.

Cool concept but I would never have a loader where the bucket is narrower than the wheels. Are there other bucket widths? If it doesn't have the power to support such a bucket, it needs to go back to the drawing board. A grapple is a different story. For the most part it does not need to be as wide as the tires as you're picking up large bunches of material and a couple of inches doesn't mean much unless you need to make a hole to get through.

The tires help with the soft ground and the grapple it would have ran would have matched the width. We stopped running this as it wasn’t big enough for land clearing work and we walked away from residential tree work

Are you breaking the lines loose to lose pressure for the quick connections to go together?

All you have to do is shake the manual controls back and forth while unhooking and hooking...
