@@seymorefact4333 well yes, they are. Try doing that. You’ll end up in prison. Unless of course you’re part of the club, then you don’t have to pay taxes and you can even be president.
They receive 100% but inly distribute 25% cause the rest gets lost in administrative.
I will never forget my internship. I worked as a volunteer tax preparer. This was when Obamacare started rolling out. One lady was a waitress. She only made around $16,000 for the year. She owed money because she did not have healthcare. I felt so bad telling her. I couldn't figure out any loopholes to help her. Same year, had two instances where women had their hair done, nice make up, decent clothes. They looked like they worked. Nope. They had multiple kids, and received between 8k and 10k from their tax return. The one had about $1,500 in earned income for the year. Can't recall the other. The system punishes people who try to do the right thing and it rewards people for being pieces of crap
Exactly! By design to break this country. We need to be smarter.
It also rewards those who produce/create future tax payers....how does it pan out for working moms or women who are either married or common law relationships?
Either this is a lie or she was doing something wrong cause she would have gotten free health care under Obama care.

Im disabled, bed ridden, no income since 2016…without medicaid and food stamps i could not survive…because the SSDI approval process is broken. Their goal is to deny you, not give you the benefits you paid into your working life. Ive been denied 3x now.
Id love to here what alternative you suggest. But right now, i need medical and food and the only way to get it is through welfare since SSDI keeps wrongly denying me (and millions of Americans). Oh and the generosity of family, friends and never will NEVER be enough. It doesnt pay bills or even give me the bare necessities to survive more than a day or two. NO CHARITY has ever helped me either…they dont help the disabled financially. Everyone assumes you are on SSDI when you are too sick to work when in reality, up to 60% are not and constantly getting denied with a process that takes months to years in between each denial.
I know women with multiple kids who live with the baby's daddy. They received 10 to 15,000 on tax season for being a single parent on top of the food stamps and everything else. While my wife and I both work full-time jobs living check to check with a daughter that is 17 years old looking for a college to attend. It makes it hard to sleep at night. Love your podcast. Some economists have projected that both the U.S. and parts of Europe could slip into a recession for a portion of 2023. A global recession, defined as a contraction in annual global per capita income, is more rare because China and emerging markets often grow faster than more developed economies. Essentially the world economy is considered to be in recession if economic growth falls behind population growth.
For a portion of 2023. We in October 😂😂😂😂 NO MAMES
I’m a severely disabled American, and I must say I would do anything for the dignity of having a job, and the fact that millions of people are on assistance without even having a disability is incredibly angering.
70% of people on welfare are in full time employment.
DON'T FORGET THE CORPORATIONS AND FOREIGN AID THAT MONEY COMES OUT THE A** AND WEINER OF AMERICANS
I know 3 people that are smarter than I and not physically disabled that apply and accept disability.
Not mentioning your situation but there’s a lot of disability scams out there
We paid for disability . I worked all my life and cancer came along was over prescribed chemo . I would love to work . These kids use the system from beginning!
You nailed it! Years ago when I was nine years old during the 60's there was a recession and my Father lost his business. Our life was drastically changed. We moved from our beautiful house to a town house complex. My Father had to work two jobs. There were times we didn't have much food in the house. One day at school a friend of mine told me about food stamps. I went home and told my parents we needed to sign up for food stamps. I will never forget what my Father said "Erin we are not the kind of people that go to the government for help. We will figure this out on our own". Well, my Father did figure it out on his own and life turned out great! My Father taught me a lot in that comment. Believe in yourself, work hard, pray everyday , life will get better.
"Erin we are not the kind of people that go to the government for help. We will figure this out on our own". "
And thats how people did it years ago. They pulled back and started over. My mother had real disdain for people who were on welfare. She knew it would make for bad kids.
Back then, people had self-pride. Unlike today.
@@truther001 Well, with the government and society kicking the father out, the sense of standards are clearly gone.
Meanwhile, billion dollar corporations are taking 'food stamps' in the form of subsidies and they have no problem with it.
Survivorship bias. Happy it turned out good for you guys, but it very well could’ve been the case that you guys got evicted and ended up on the streets and in fact, in times of economic hardships that’s overwhelmingly the outcomes for most people if there’s no social safety net.
America is currently plagued by the hydra-headed evil duo of inflation and recession. The worst part about this recession is that consumers are racking up credit card debt. In April alone, credit card debt went up 20% while rates have doubled in a year. Inflation is so high that consumers are literally taking debt for basic life necessities. Collapse has indeed begun.. Lloyd Bernard
What happened to SVB is really scary, and goes to show that no corporation, however big, is immune to collapse. I have always had a deep-seated mistrust for corporations. I have plans to pull out most of my money, but don't know what to do with $350k sitting idly. I'd like to go into the stock market, maybe. Any ideas?
Ironically, these are the conditions in which life-changing money is made by those who remain calm, patient, and take controlled risks. Volatility goes both ways. The banks are in a big crisis. The market looks very shaky. The bigger the red candles, the bigger the green ones. I have made over $280k in the last 4 months by investing through my FA.

I get what you're saying, especially regarding these unmarried couples but: when i was growing up in the 50's, my dad made enough money (working as a grease buffer in a non union factory) to support us including making payments on a modest home. My mom stayed home and made sure I was brought up right. Nowadays most married couples have to work just to get by. And everyone complains cause our kids are literally being raised by the school systems. It's not just the welfare system that needs to be changed.
Taxes are what is hurting the average American. Folks are getting waxed 30% or more per paycheck
Most married people have to work just to get by because 50% of their income is taken by the government
IDK, I've pretty much figured 30% my whole life. I think the biggest issue is paychecks haven't kept up with inflation. Back in 1970, I started real work as a carpenters helper (non union) at $8 an hour. Nowadays, probably getting 10-12. Every time there is a recession, wages go down. Just look at the number of people who got "re-hired" at less than they made before. Another crazy number are insurances. Their increases are ridiculous.@@cleanuptomcat2
I’m getting taxed 24% and in 3 years I’ll be on the next bracket 32%. It feel so good knowing I would be contributing more for this nonsense
The problem you mention and the issues Pat brought up are inextricably linked. If the government wasn’t taking so much of our checks and redistributing it, we would have more to live on. There are other issues, such as the health care costs that are spiraling out of control, but almost every problem that we face these days is rooted squarely in our government. As Reagan said, the nine most terrifying words in the English language are, “I’m from the government, and I’m here to help.
It basically creates dependents. Encourages the degeneration of quality amongst people, one generation at a time. It feeds the coffers of those that rule consumer culture. I love this topic. Refreshing to hear someone publicly speak about it.
This is all so true.
Since i came to this country (2010) neither my parents or myself had qualified for any government help. Because of the martial status.
My husband and I struggled when we had our son (during covid time) I basically didn’t qualified for any help due to my husband’s income. Everyone around me kept telling me to apply for this and apply for that. But it didn’t feel right because i would have to lie and say that im single. And then its hard to work becase daycare charges almost $400 per week, which would be more than half my income.
There’s nothing pro-family, and pro-working people about the government’s incentives.
The same situation, we could not get any help. And my husband doing a little bit over $20.000 income per year, but with taxes is even less. And I was not working and I have my baby we could even apply for any help. But other mom's even ilegal immigrants have more benefits than married woman lol. 😁
The welfare program in this country is a scam too many lazy people wanting free money
Sadly, I work for the foodstamp office... It gets pretty bad. 6, 7, 8, 9 kids muliple fathers and none of them around or contributing. If you bring certain religions in that do not believe in birth control, well, it just gets worse. The kids also grow up knowing no responsibility. Just mom sittin on the couch all day eating. Everything Pat said is 100% spot-on. They also punish those who are trying t better themselves by getting a degree or attending any institute of higher learning. Same with those without children that do want help finding a job... Punish. If you try, we punish you. If you put no effort into life at all, we reward you. They also feel 100% entitled to the handouts.
Imagine what we could do if: 1.) we had no national debt 2.) people were not conditioned to live off the government 3.) we had responsible people running the country
we could make America great again
Imagine what we could do if: 1.) we had immense national debt 2.) people were conditioned to live off the government 3.) we had irresponsible people running the country. There’s a lot of room to capitalize you just have to think a little deviously.
Interest payments on the national debt ARE WELFARE TO BIG FINANCE. It's risk-free fixed income. In the next couple years that welfare for the rich will be bigger than military spending, FREE MONEY FOR THE RICH they pay out every day,
you need to ditch Federal/Illuminati. these are the backbone can make chaos/peace in silence
Imagine what we could do if we: 1) stigmatized greed as much as sloth 2) examined our own choices with as much scrutiny as we examine the choices of others 3)Reminded ourselves and future generations that life is a death sentence and no one really knows for certain what comes next, if anything. (Countless people have come along claiming to know, but all they have is faith; faith in what some other person told them, ad infinitum, mind you.)
Among these people some have said:
“Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment. Command them to do good, to be rich in *good deeds*, and to be generous and willing to share.” - Paul
“Blessed are you who are poor, for yours is the kingdom of God” - Jesus
“Woe to the rich…” - Jesus
“Well, you need to hear about money, because you ain't gonna have no love and joy and peace until you get some money!” -Creflo Dollar
Who can say for certain who is right? None. All we can have is faith. WARNING: Faith can be very powerful. It can dictate every single choice we make. I’m confident you can look around and easily recognize where many have misplaced their faith, don’t be so arrogant to think that you are not susceptible to the same.
4) Warned ourselves and future generations that we are the only species(that we know of) that is susceptible to self-deception. It’s easy to recognize in others, but not as easy to recognize In ourselves until it’s too late and the lie has already done it’s damage.
I worked two full time jobs to put myself through college while I was 19 years old. I paid for my housing, food, vehicle, insurances, cell phone, etc. We need to stop handing it out and start making people work for it. Anything handed out is taken for granted. Everything worked for is so much more valued.
My best friend since childhood…got pregnant at age nineteen. She was married. Her husband also got another girl pregnant just three months behind getting my friend pregnant. Long story short, my friend got welfare temporarily. She went to college, now has a Masters degree and is a retired teacher. She didn’t make welfare a way of life!

@@genbigmac2872 So the 8 Trillion "war on Terror" that got thrown on us after 9-11 was free? Cause I don't remeber anyone who thought like Pat back then (Pretty much Fox News and Right talk radio like Rush Limbaugh) talking about how the cost of the "war on Terror" is going to be too much and we can't get into opened ened wars like Iraq (which had nothing to do with 9-11). The Right FETISHIZED the military for YESRS, telling us to thank the troops, always equating patriotism to the military and the "War on Terror". Even Sports was giving us propaganda every game with a salute to the troops avery 5 min, which turned out to be paid for by the Gov't. The 2nd Amendment is for Defense, we don't need to spend a Trillion A YEAR (that we know of) on the Military.
What about stop spending money on who god knows what abroad and investing in infrastructure, housing, police here in US. But instead we give money to one of the most corrupt country 🇺🇦 😂 Crazy right.
I know all about welfare. I was even chewed out for being on it. I, myself, was never proud of being on it. I hate begging for money and for the most part I never did. Nothing feels more shameful as a man than not feeling you can stand on your own 2 feet. I still remember applying for fast food jobs (even though I had plumbing, carpentry, painting experience) and still was not getting hired. Putting in resume after resume and no call backs. You feel defeated and meanwhile you have to be on welfare because you have kids and then you look at your kids and tell yourself "I failed You...I failed myself." while all that is happening you have family and neighbors calling you a bum and that you don't deserve your kids. To add salt on the already wide open wound you get divorced and have the courts tell you that you deserve prison because you cant even pay child support and the social workers tell me I dont deserve my kids (she told me with a scorn tone to my face). I wanted to kill myself. The only reason why I didn't is because of my kids. I wanted to be there for them in some way, even though I still didn't feel like a man, and I fought hard mentally to make that happen. I heard many stories over the years of coworkers killing themselves over vindictive exes, unfair family court rulings and child visitations, but you just dont think it was gonna happen to you. Thats why many men are redpilled and rightfully so because the system is not in favor of men.
I still remember as a single father applying for food stamps and they told me in order to qualify I had to be working 40hrs, going to school, and paying for daycare. I asked the lady hypothetically if did all those things and was making 10 an hr how much in foodstamps would I receive, and she said "$40 a month". I told her that makes no sense, but she argued that I would need to work at a better paying job. I told if I had a better paying job I wouldn't need foodstamps. Its all a scam for men because we have to pay while all this incentivizes women for being single.
No that's the rule for anybody who meets certain requirements.
@@mindqueen2127 not for women. The system is WAY more sympathetic to women.
Your right. The government is a scam!!! They utilize the women for the scams! Who pays the price, the children, many are in prison. @mosj9876
Pat that is an amazing story. I run a successful business and do not have kids yet, but I will remember that story for when I am raising my kids to teach them two things: the value of money and the value of hard work. Those two things could not only change the United States, but the world. Thank you for what you do.
People have always said defense budget is the biggest expenditure but when I tell then no welfare is they are completely surprised.
welfare goes to citizens ... the defense is sent to BS projects and friends get kickbacks.

Yep that’s why I decided I didn’t want children when I was a teenager. I was tired of children as a child. Eff them kids. 🤷🏾♀️Suck up all your time and resources. Then they turn out to be a problem when they become an adult. Nope.
PBD I’m so glad you are bringing this issue up. Single parent household is the single most important issue to the USA. As Thomas Sole says “whatever you subsidize the more of that you get.” There has been a political culture war against family starting with abortion then welfare fueled the fire. 👊🔥

We still haven't addressed the disabled and elderly who paid their whole life into social security and will most likely never be able to survive on it or have it disappear. Those programs need to be stronger since families cannot take care of children, disabled, and elderly.

@craigdendy5762yeah that’s why the construction industry is struggling because the genx made it too hard for millennials to enter the field. They don’t wanna hire anyone under 30 because 20 year olds are irresponsible but who’s fault is that ? Gen x!
I remember when we kids in the 70's my friend Johnny and started collecting 5 cent money back bottles and saving them. If you found the occasional 1qt soda bottle you would get 10 cents! After a while we saved enough to buy a lawn mower at the Red White & Blue thrift store in Hialeah Fl. I fixed it up and my dad gave us a machete and Johnny's dad a hedge clippers. At thirteen we were cutting grass, doing a paper route and working at 7/11 store on Wednesdays stocking shelves on the side! That was 45 years ago and we're still my best friend.
Wow. This is crazy. Thanks for so much value!!
True life story, I had an employee with huge potential. She resigned because to her the sum of getting her benefits cut + paying for daycare was greater than the value of learning new skills / self-improvement.

Hi man thx for your work. I'm french living in France and the system your are describing with lazy people searching all day long ways to take more money to the state instead of looking for work, it is exactly what s happening in my country for 30 years... The result.. France vanished. Good luck ! God bless you.
My wife is from Nigeria. There are no welfare programs in Nigeria. People find a way to survive. Welfare needs to end. It's just a way for politicians to buy votes with other's money
It's for slaves
This has to be the most racist and insane take
@@Gerry1738Racist take? How? The man is right. Politicians are using our money to buy votes.
Exactly.
It goes even deeper Pat. I talked to a woman that gets 2,600 a month from the government by getting crazy checks on each of her kids. She was bragging and told me she could teach me how to get crazy checks on my kids.
She'll get a huge reality check at some point when she has to be productive for once.
The story about the dad and the kid was amazing. I will always remember it!
Government Corpprate Welfare is way way way of a cost than US personal Welfare recipients.
Ok let's get rid of all corporate subsidies. Let's see what happens!
What you don't understand is corporate subsidies save jobs, wages, products, and services which in return gets taxed.
What do we get in return for welfare? Single mothers, crime, gangs, drug addicts, etc. Yes, look at reservations and ghettos.
Both are wrong.
okay let's get rid of government trillion dollars subsidies for "EV" corporations and "green enegy" corporations 😊😊😊😊😊😊.
I don't like either and it shouldn't happen
@@SK-fp4ed No it doesn't. In a capitalist system corporatism kills small businesses.
Excellent/ Informative!
In my homeland, approximately half of the population relies on various forms of financial assistance, which amounts to supporting 30 million individuals with the contributions of 7.4 million taxpayers.
What exacerbates this situation is the fact that if you're among the highest earners, you're subject to nearly a 50% tax rate, and even middle-income earners face tax rates in the range of 30% to 40%.
What truly infuriates me is that despite these high tax burdens, the quality of government-provided services is abysmal. Public schools are inadequate, government hospitals leave much to be desired, and you're often forced to rely on private security services instead of the police.
In essence, we're compelled to pay substantial taxes, ranging from 30% to 50%, to fund what seems like the government's tool for garnering votes, the social welfare system. And on top of that, we still have to dig into our pockets for private education, private healthcare, and private security.
Glad to hear someone talk about this. Grew up with most everyone in my family and around my family on these types of programs and I can tell you first hand that exactly what you described is exactly how it's being used and abused
without these programs, these people are homeless. I have family who are like this but they have always been loosers. Stupid and poor.. it is what it is.
We should just get rid of food stamps and and section 8 and see what happens.
Cut welfare bridge cards and gov housing. Replace it with health insurance for every American.
My family and I would be considered in the top 2-4% of America but even I know the struggle to get a good paying job is real. There’s a reason our country is divided and it’s mainly economic. Everyone is pissed off because the only jobs available to them are dead-end jobs with no hope of progress or being above water when it comes to finances. This whole idea of hustle your way out is the only way but it’s not possible for the majority. There are some real structural issues such as real estate costs, healthcare costs, and college costs that just creates a society of indentured servants while the rich grow rapidly richer with outsized returns on capital investments. It’s no wonder some take the easy way out by taking welfare.
Agreed! From my perspective it’s very hard to hustle when you are a single parent. Hustling for me would have been working 2 full time jobs. That’s not possible. 85% of what I had went to rent and child care. 5th year senior in college I dropped out. Why? Because no way to pay for books, lab fees, parking pass, and child care. Child care alone was an extra $600 a month and that was through a church sponsored facility near the university. I became very disillusioned years ago. But on the bright side I have an awesome son that has grown into the best young man.
Most of the adult job training are scams. The majority in low income neighborhoods only provide training for a career in security, housekeeping and other jobs that can't support a family. They could have put that money into providing vocational skills like electrical - carpentry - construction and earn over $130k a year in OT after four years in the union but they like dept slaves
@@Trish.NormanDo NOT have children if you cannot support them. This is the number one problem.
Also, a society requires many jobs to function. Many jobs are simply not going to pay very much. A janitor in a hospital is doing a necessary job (my dad worked as a janitor in a hospital), but he's never going to earn what a doctor or hospital administrator earns.
Therefore, people have varying buying power.
I don't think you're allowed to talk like that on a channel this far to the right.
Love the video. The things you said are so true. Everyone should see and listen to this video. 👌🏿👌🏿👌🏿👌🏿👌🏿👌🏿👌🏿
Thank you for sharing this info. You have me some insight I never considered.
Something that Pad let out of this fantastic presentation is the level of corruption that goes on with these programs. I can tell you from experience, that many of this program's local offices are run by people who will find a way not to "approve" the "benefits" to those who really need it, and will favor their family members and closets friends.
I'm genuinely curious, are the same people who approve these applications also in charge of amounts distributed? How does that work?
@@RichieRich7339yes. In Ontario I live in simcoe county. Look it up. The taxes collected for subsidies are allocated to an office in which simcoe county workers hired by the county to distribute those funds through case by case basis. Those people get paid more than PSW workers and RPN. Personal support workers and practicing medical nurses make less than these individuals responsible for handing out the subsidies. If we had AI distribute it would save our county millions of dollars every year just on these wasted salaries.

Anyone notice the corporatist doesn't mention corporate welfare. There's your clue to his shillness. 😮
This might be outdated, but in Michigan in 2012. A household of a family of 3 needs to earn under 45k to receive benefits. Even though the average beneficiary receives over 50k of benefits. So for two kids the government is spending 100k on that family. Ofcourse there not actually receiving that money. The majority of that money is spent on the bureaucracy. Its crazy to think that if you just gave them half of the money being spent on them they wouldn't even qualify for the "benefits " there receiving. 🤔
Thank you PBD! Your story at the end gave me chills. That story really shows how taking ownership in your efforts will make the journey worthwhile.

Great video, I appreciate you PBD!
Thanks for the truth.....!! Shine the bright light......!!
Great work Pat! I have been talking about this subject for many years now, but had no idea that these programs were so out of control. It's a real eye opener and needs to be addressed. This has been one of my concerns having to do with the influx of the illegals who are crossing our border as we speak. It seems as though none of them have a job, or even have the will to work to pay their own way in our society. What we have now is millions more people added to the welfare system, that is already broken. I did a little math on the money being spent per day in NY city, and it added up to close to a billion dollars a month. That is just one place and I can't imagine how much more it is in other states. I honestly believe that if the American people knew how much our government was giving away to this mess, they would be outraged. We can't sustain this much longer, and I don't think we have leaders that will do anything about it.
I have a problem with able bodied people getting free shit, when I am legitimately disabled and I fighting cancer. I've been trying to get disability for over a year and they drag their feet so bad, I'm now financially ruined. If it wasn't for my family, I'd be homeless. I worked 25 years at the same job before becoming disabled. I feel like I'm being treated like I'm some kind of piece of shit. For 30 years, my taxes went to able bodied people getting free shit. Now that I legitimately need help because of a lot of medical issues including cancer, I can't get any help. Even worse than my situation is vets that can't get help. There's no excuse for vets being homeless and not being taken care of. Democrats have put priority on the wrong group of people. They have made it financially a better situation for mom's to be single and live off of welfare and child support. It's complete bullshit.
PBD YOU ARE PREACHIN..TYSM FOR THE DATA!!

I’ve been saying this for years. Welfare is a very large part of why things are so messed up.
Yep. It perpetuates single parent homes. If policies supported families, I believe things would be different.

>>Thanks for the update and keep doing what you do. My journey in the current market has taught me a lot of lessons, at the top of that list is that it never pays to live above one's means, I came here to learn how to invest after listening to a guy on radio talk about the importance of investing and how he made $960,000 in 4 months from $160k, somehow this video has helped shed light on some things, but I'm still confused, I'm a newbie and I'm open to ideas.
Investing in stocks is a good idea, a good trading system would put you through many days of success.
Having monitored my portfolio performance which has made a jaw dropping $470k from just the past two quarters alone, I have learned why experienced traders make enormous returns from the seemingly unknown market.
Interesting. I have a lump sum doing absolutely nothing at all in my bank account, I wanna get something started with it. You seem to be doing excellent for yourself, how do you achieve this?
Exactly, the trick is to diversify your investment, don't panic when everyone else is and invest consistently.
@@Henryk3746Hello Do you trade on your own?
As a child growing up on welfare and then in the foster care system. I agree with Pat 100%. However, it took those funds to help me become a MAN. Then it was my decision to be something better than how I grew up. I became a firefighter and then Fire Officer as well as a Fire Investigator etc.
I’ve spoken to many kids coming from broken homes. My mother was murdered. My uncle and cousin in the same building two years later. I was a dropout at 17 but got my GED. A child that never had a safe day in my life. Being abused in foster homes and having no parents. I never met my real father until I was 45 years old.
I’m not as successful as Pat but that’s because Pat wasn’t my Dad. Everything I learned was the same as the story of a son. I did not resort to drugs or crime. My mission was helping people. I recently retired after 30 years as a firefighter. The things I’ve seen 98% of people will never see.
I intend on writing a screenplay of my life. I’ve only scratched the surface here. The point of it is one reason only. To give the new generation something to think about and strive for more. I was only a firefighter, but achieving that goal is a million times harder than any career you will go for. Especially with zero family on the job or friends etc.
I did that!!! They can never take that away from me. I did that to provide for my daughter and family as all of us should no matter how hard it is.
Great video Pat, maybe you could help me with my screenplay. Another thing I learned is this. Having a great ATTITUDE will get you far in life. Being able and willing to do the work, people with influence will be willing to help. I never would have become a firefighter otherwise.
So if you ever read this Pat. My story coukd change the direction of 99% of the population today. Hard work and perseverance pays off. My career was the best. I never made a dime for anyone’s business. I did it because I wanted to help people. That was all the payment I coukd have ever hoped for.
Good man, stay strong
How does this number compare to military spending and corporate profits post pandemic? How many welfare recipients work for corporations like Walmart? Are we subsiding billionaires, the Ukraine, and our political class? How much did Blackrock pay in taxes last year? I think these things need to be addressed here as well to get a more clear picture.
Very good questions! Some times I think Patrick is way outta pocket. He acts like an experts, but says wild shit that doesnt make sense.
If corporations weren't given tax monies at zero interest then it would take care of organizations like Black rock taking advantage of the system. But the welfare system is terrible as well. We need to address both.
Totally agree. Their solution: print money. That's what the Bidens do. If all programs were included we would see the numbers do not add up. Total corruption.
I think it’s even simpler than that tbh. We have a shit ton of nukes, same with China/Russia, no country would ever think of going to war with
them/US. Yet we spend 800+ billion each year for what? It’s just a money pit and we have no say in it.

sad thing is, this is true. My aunt would always use the excuse for my older cousin getting a job claiming if he worked over 40 hours then the government will take his check. smh
I've worked hard for 45 years, my husband retired from the Air force as a reservest. I'm trying to figure out how my friend gets so much money applying for low income benefits, they paid her big CPS bill off and water bill and her and her boyfriend get 1000 a month in foodstamps. Our government has to STOP giving money to single mothers and get these men in their lives to do the right thing. Somewhere the cord needs to be cut. My friend got thousands of extra dollars and never reported it to the foodstamp office. Here we are wondering how our hard earned tax money is taken from us and giving it to others. The gov't needs to start checking people's bank records to see what 's up. In the meantime people, grow your gardens.
I’m tired of carrying the burden for the 20% of people on welfare. I want to keep more of my money especially knowing my money is worth less than it’s ever been.

I knew a girl who had no family money, 3 kids, unmarried, got a $25K/yr salary and was able to afford to purchase a home. She said it was from money she got from the government for being a single mother with kids. My family couldnt afford to purchase a home in the same area my whole life and my family’s household income was probably closer to $60K-$75K/yr - same amount of kids. Makes sense now
It does make sense, she saved duh
Yep- watch the affluence of someone who starts having kids unmarried. It's definitely a pay raise for them

I had one child two years after I got married. My child was planned with my then husband. Five years later, the marriage did not work out. My ex didn’t pay his child support. I STILL NEVER GOT WELFARE! I worked, clipped coupons, and managed. There IS an incentive for young women to stay on welfare, food stamps, public housing and energy assistance. None of these programs are bad but they need to function with an incentive to become dependent, especially welfare! Unemployment has an incentive to apply for jobs. True disability benefits shouldn’t be temporary; but are monitored with letters going out that have to be completed by a physician to ensure that the person receiving disability is in fact still completely disabled. So…WHY doesn’t welfare have an incentive to become independent?
Thank you for highlighting the perverse incentives that are designed to destroy families... if not keep them from being created in the first place. I remember my anger when a black woman got on the train and started yelling out about he she has 9 children and we're all paying for them and she had no desire to stop, or get married, because she makes LOTS of money having all those kids. It angered me because my mom was the same way, having kids to get more money. She mooched and milked the system. Our family was a shambled mess. And to see her become dependent on the government was the worst. I resented her for doing that. She wouldn't learn basic skills like how to use a phone book. She was finally forced to find a job, and couldn't even hold that because she didn't have basic skills and wouldn't learn enough to serve other people. Just take-take-take. Think about that....
Yea, those black people always want something for free. It's like modern-day slavery.
Cool story that didn't happen 😂
