I’m 34 and grew up in a Christian home... my parents were in a successful gospel band. They travelled all over Canada and US. My dad was a PK. And secretly lived out his ‘wild life’ from the time my mom was pregnant with me until I was 19. No one knew. He lived a total double life and cheated too many times to count on my mom and family. He had 3 heart attacks. He almost died. Finally he built up the courage to come clean and work towards a change. Shay, I’m telling you this because it was H A R D. My siblings and I all have some scars from what we went though. My mom still has issues with trust and worry. But. We all love my Dad. 💕 My mom included. They are still married and they truly love each other. They did separate for a few months when he came clean... and they went to a lot of appointments separately and together- and some with the whole family. They’ve now been married 42 years. Never give up hope. Forgiveness isn’t only for a select few. I hope you can forgive yourself 💕 You have so much purpose, and truly can change so many lives toward our Father. I believe that things will get better. Never stop trying 💜
