I'd like to know how far things penetrated, especially with many rounds leaving the block. Seemed like those that didn't over penetrate fragmented heavily. The handgun rounds looked like they did not expand properly. I appreciate you showing these, but I don't think they are for me. However, when you start selling primers or brass, count me in.
Appreciate the testing, but i recommend slowing the video down, discussing the results and your findings on penetration, expansion, fragmentation , etc. That was a lot of calibers and loadings to cover in only a 5 minute video. Maybe put two blocks end to end to try to capture the deep penetrators.
I see lots of gel, but I don't see too much of the AAC (particularly interested in the saber black) actually hunting deer or hogs. Wonder if you could work some of that into your lineup?
Let's see 556 77gr OTM vs 55gr blacktip. Which preforms best? Is one better for self defense or hunting? I have both but have not put down range yet. I'm trying to decide which is best for self defense home application with suppressor. I think it's 55 blacktip but not sure.
Can yall have a couple of your engineers spend a lunch break looking at the idea of a 5.7 blackout round? Same width brass, but much thicker projectile which shouldn't need such a long barrel as the Rock 5.7, while retaining the extra capacity advantage. It would make the Rock Compact idea a lot more viable as a concealed carry option. Just think of a P365 XL sized gun with 18 or 20 round capacity, kind of like the 30 super idea, but with the 5.7 brass and a heavier projectile like a 77gr 556 round.

would like to see a ballistic gel test for all rounds, as well as chronograph readings for science. would also like to see AAC556tmk1-20, AAC556smk1-20, .357 fmj and xtp, 10mm fmj and xtp, and maybe even some of that shortly ran 45 lc. Huge fan of the company!
Thank you for watching and we’ll keep that in mind!
Noteworthy how the 5.56 appeared to transfer far more energy to the gel block than any of the 300 blk rounds did.
finally that 140 grain 6.5 creedmore i bought 200 rounds of it
Dang definitely need the 77 otm next time and PLEASE next time get rid of the BUBBLES! Haha thanks though guys your awesome as always...oh and bring a ratchet strap next time please
5.7x28 please
Gotta get ready for the X5.7 :0
A great video idea would if you used a chronograph and speed tested your ammo from different guns you guys make
Maybe we can look in to that for next time!
For the 45 to open up, you guys might need to drop the weight or move to +p loading.
Love this! Thank you.
We appreciate you watching!
It's decent range ammo but has less power then actual premium rounds like TUI or Black Hills
only difference is a smidge more speed...very tiny difference when I was comparing AAC 70gr TSX to Barne's 70gr TSX. Same with the 77gr TMK....These are REALLY good prices, and no, I don't work for PSA or AAC.
@@keithcrandall1369 compare it to a real defense ammo. Barnes tsx isn't what I would consider a premium ammo either. Try for Scott TUI, LTech 5.56, Black hills, and so on. You will see a difference in gel, not just speed
Could you guys do an in depth comparison of your different 5.56 loads?
maybe we can look in to that next time!
@@PalmettoStateArmoryVideos Thanks! You guys have a lot of tempting offerings, and I want to know which one works best for me. I really like the idea of buying one type of round for roughly $.60 and having it be both training and duty. That way, I just know my system even better!
I'd like to see the 556 69 gr SMK and the 300 blk 220 gr SMK.
Maybe we can do that next time!
would like to see some more in depth vids of hunting/SD rounds that are slowed down, showing the retained bullet
Thanks for the feedback! Maybe next time.
@@PalmettoStateArmoryVideos is there any way for you to tell us which hornady bullet is being used in the soft point and black tip .308? Or what it's similar to in the hornady lineup? I want to buy some but want to know how they perform in gel before hunting with them
Any chance of getting A 27gr 5.7 that can go over 2000fps out of the rock/five seven pistol and 3000fps out of A 10.4 ps90?
🤷♂️
Noted
@@PalmettoStateArmoryVideos And lose the music!
Can y’all do all of your 300BO ammo out of the JAKL
It looks like you have a 12"x21" gel block. It needs to be 18"x36" at least. We want to see the projectile after the shot.
I see lots of gel, but I don't see too much of the AAC (particularly interested in the saber black) actually hunting deer or hogs. Wonder if you could work some of that into your lineup?
Show any recovered projectiles and retained weight
37/40mm launchers!!! (Optional NFA 40mm rifled barrel)
Toooooob!
Let's see 556 77gr OTM vs 55gr blacktip. Which preforms best? Is one better for self defense or hunting? I have both but have not put down range yet. I'm trying to decide which is best for self defense home application with suppressor. I think it's 55 blacktip but not sure.
77gr OTM?
Maybe next time!
Man if AAC had 6mm arc ammo life would go from 0-60 real quick.
Good video.
Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for watching!
I thought for sure you would do the 77g otm
Sabre 300 BLK 110 gr Black tip
Where the 8.6 blackout ammo
🤷♂️
Is 5.45x39 coming soon?
🤷♂️
how about your 77gr 5.56 and heavy 308
well shit....looks like I'm buying some bulk AAC for my handguns and a bunch of Sabre Black Tip for my 5.56 and 300BLK. Thank you for this.
You guys definitely need a slow-motion camera, can you imagine the fun :)
😏
@2:00 alright be honest... was the dragonfly still on the muzzle when testing?
We hope not👀
Lovin me some AAC!!!!
Us too😎
great stuff. looking forward to a video on the soviet bloc calibers. any chance you will be able to do 7.62x54R in that line?
Not sure yet!
Are there any dagger slides that work with gen3 g17 frame
Make some 100 grain 5.7
Wit steel cores
MM77 Approved 👍🏼 👍🏼
I'll be impressed when I see the PSA Saber ball and powder guns lol
The “hear ye, hear ye” 🤣
@@radapatada sabre used to mean something lol now every gun says Sabre to make people think it's a higher quality product then what it is.
