Great video as usual! Love how you always give the pros and cons of the products you review...sometimes, no matter how cool these gadgets are, certain negatives are utter dealbreakers. Thanks and be well! 👍
This was an amazing review. When I saw this design I was so exited to finally get what I always asked for on a multi tool. But after your review you made me realize how the séptimo it’s not perfect and it’s not for me. Thank you for your video.
I love this tool. I remove the glass breaker nub because it got in the way. I also keep a #2 Philips bit in the driver end. Eventually the magnet fell out and I had to glue it back in
Like you I constantly seek out “the one multitool” ....still looking haha. This one was definitely NOT it just based on looks alone. It’s incredibly awkward. The closest I have to come finding a perfect MT is a the Leatherman Wingman with a main blade swap and secondary serrated blade swap from the Sidekick. Runner up is the Spyderco Clipitool Multitool + a SAK
Thanks for an honest review. Seems like it's a compromise on everything so doesn't do anything particularly well. I watched your fenix Lr35 review. I bought it off your review, this will definitely suit my specific needs. Thanks!
Born of Flames? I thought it was Forged by War. Did they change the name, or is this a different line? This is one of the few blades I wouldn't mind veff serrations on. With it had more tools, but it seems like the blade really is good enough to replace a folder, unlike most multis. Thanks for sharing.
It looks like a pretty nice multi tool 🔧 2 have, I carry the Surge Heavy-duty, because I'm a Silverback gorilla, as 4 your 3 dislikes, they all can be modified 2 be suit, if you really desire, you can cut off glass breaker, get an elongated thumb stud, and shave the teeth down on the wrench, while maintaining sharpness of teeth, or elongating the stopper on adj, wrench 🔧 I'm sure it has a keeper. Thank you for your time kind Sir. 🙏✌
I definitely want one of these....it's like a grown up version of the Guppie. It appears to be out of stock everywhere, though. They didn't discontinue it already, did they?
Having a seatbelt cutter on the blade would be a problem for me. It doesn't seem too safe. In a high stress environment, it would be too easy to stab/cut someone.
An adjustable wrench with jaws from pliers!? Fix that! I’ll just keep the Proto 704 in my pocket. It open past 5/8” with no problem. And I need a bigger and stronger knife.
The name comes from the 7th Special Forces Group the designer was part of during his service in the military. He also design a knife that has the same name.
Ok i love me some crkt but I clicked on the video because im about 99.99 pecent sure you had a crkt knife with a minni rocket launcher on the back of it.
@@ChrispyThings i believe they are designed in oregon and other states but arent manufactured in the US. at least the majority of them arent to my knowledge
This is very interesting. I'm currently looking for a knife-based multi-tool and this is another option. Thanks for the review.

I can overlook all the negatives I mentioned, except for the wrench being too small.

Thanks for watching. I really wanted to like this. And I think it’s still a great little tool. It just doesn’t fit my purposes.
@@ChrispyThings yes! The search for the perfect multi tool continues I guess lol. Thank you again for your review.
Close the adjustable wrench & take a dremel with a diamond tipped ball & extend the channel on the top side. Maybe that'll help it open slightly.
Great idea. I haven’t thought about this tool in a while but maybe I’ll do that to see if I can fix the issue
@@ChrispyThings lol I just found out it existed. Didnt realize how long ago it was. Oops, o well..
Looks good just needs tweaking like u said.. maybe the next version they'll address the issue u pointed out.

Why didn't they just have the glass breaker as a separate piece that fit in the bit driver?
Maybe check out Toler union multi tool, I know they had some trouble when it first came out.
I think that serration is maybe more for zip ties, seatbelt, Paracord, small rope, I like this multi tool though.
Thank you for the review, I'd considered buying one, but now I won't waste the money.
However, it's SURFACE area, not "service" area.
Nice review. I was interested in this after seeing it on the CRKT Instagram page.
I like that is not the normal PST style multitool.

It seems like the website should say what size the wrench goes up to, but I didn't see it there.
It doesn’t state it anywhere. I had to find out the hard way
And brother i don't think that was ounces on the crkt website for the weight im pretty sure that was kilos

Not sure! Maybe gearing up V2?

SUBBED Brother! Only thing I hate about tanto is sharpening but great for puncturing.
Another great video!
Thanks brutha!
Crkt is the only pocket knives I carry as far as a multi tool the leatherman mut does everything I need

That was the first thing I thought when I saw it. I’ve never seen an adjustable wrench with toothed jaws.
The glass breaker just screws out !
Seems like the SEPTimo should have at least 7 tools.

Well, I just learned something. From a UA-cam comment. 2020 is full of surprises.
The thing you're calling a "vex serration" is actually a wire stripper
No, those aren’t wire strippers. They’re called veff serrations. Thanks though 🤨
www.crkt.com/veff-serrations/
This is exactly why I don’t buy CRKT. They take interesting designs and ruin them by using cheap steel and trying to be far too tacticool.
This one was a disappointment
The glass breaker would have to go.
Definitely
Great review but I will pass on this one. Alot better out there
Ok i love me some crkt but I clicked on the video because im about 99.99 pecent sure you had a crkt knife with a minni rocket launcher on the back of it.
It is clearly assisted and I am concerned how a knife guy can not know the difference please don't do reviews without knowing what your talking about
It’s not assisted bud. Please refrain from commenting ever on my videos until you know what you’re talking about.
Chinese? nuff said...M
Who said anything about China? CRKTs are made in Oregon.
@@ChrispyThings i believe they are designed in oregon and other states but arent manufactured in the US. at least the majority of them arent to my knowledge
Stupid multitool
So, I’m guessing you don’t like it? Lol
