I truly wish ALL groomer’s were as calm and caring as you! Due to the coronavirus, we needed to do some grooming on our own until the groomers are able to open back up. After watching videos on how to groom a Shih Tzu, I stumbled on a video titled “Grooming a mean dog brush out” and was appalled. After the first few minutes I honestly thought it was about how a groomer should NOT behave. I was wrong and shocked. No wonder the dog on that video was frightened during the process. You on the other hand took your time and your calmness was passed on to the puppy. I’d be HONORED if you were our groomer. Luckily we have a great groomer, but now I’m more aware you don’t just take your beloved family member to just anyone.

I’ve been away since our beloved little rescue dog Roxie crossed over the Rainbow Bridge on Dec. 3. We were so heartbroken, I couldn’t bear to look at any dogs for awhile. I’ve been wanting to do a puppy trim on my sweet 3mo maltipoo puppy. Thank you for making this video so I have step by step instructions to get him cleaned up(he’s getting pretty shaggy) and used to being groomed.

my boy Taz has 12th birthday today and on December 30 his puppy brother named Buddha is arriving to keep him a company and young.... so excited, counting hours tomeet our baby boy!...for over 25+ years being a wellness practitioner /healer I have to say with all kind of issues shih tzus are known to have, my baby boy is prerry healthy. He strted to loose hair over 6 months ago and now after devoted work through blessings and prayers my baby boys,s hair is growig back... im so happy for him... wishing everyone happy , healthy 2021 for you and your loved once.
Your patience is beautiful! I was just thinking that it would be awesome to do a tooth cleaning tutorial. I know it’s not something you offer in your salon but I think it’s important especially for home groomers like me doing everything for our dogs!

Awwwwwww, what a precious little Shih Tzu puppy. He looks so much like my beautiful little Shih Tzu named Bozo. My dad named him😂 Sadly, Bozo went to doggie heaven in March of this year😢 He was with us for 16 years😍 We never had a dog that was such a great companion until we got him. We always had dogs and cats, but Bozo was so special😍 We just adopted a new puppy a few weeks ago. He is Maltese and Yorkie mix. He is 12 weeks old. I have given him several baths and he does so good. However, he won’t let me trim his nails, or trim the hair around his eyes. He does not like the blow dryer either. I am working with him to allow me to do the things he does’nt like. Your videos are giving me good information about grooming puppies. I always took my Bozo to a groomer that was really great with him, but Ollie ( my new puppy ) is so tiny that I decided to be his groomer too. So thank you so much for your videos🤩 I think they will help me a lot. Your wonderful with this little guy. May God Bless you Richly✝️😇

You are a GREAT groomer....I have worked at a grooming parler that was so great and I was trained to wash the dogs exactly like you....i see a lot fo groomers on you tube that are just not cleaning the dogs. Good job and will continue watching yours videos.

i like the care you gave to getting the puppy use to you. I have had 2 Shih Tzus and grooming is very important. Thank you for telling people about the short nose "issues" and ear issues. I noticed the dryer blowing in his eyes. They also have eye issues. You did not mention no direct blowing in their eyes and what the temperature of the dryer should be. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you:) the dryer setting is medium heat which is just warm. The stand dryer produces a soft, gentle air flow. No worries about the eyes. If it bothered him, he would just look the other way.
