    Very helpful video. I do have a couple of Smith goggles as well. What is the most suitable VLT for the goggles? My Smith goggles can be switched if needed. I have a lens with 12% VLT, (for very sunny days), 35% VLT, and 60% VLT (low light). On your video, I think the closest match to what I have is the Green Sol-X Mirror (12% VLT).

    • @WildKiwiAdventurer

      It's made by earth sea sky. A new zealand company. It's just think with lots of insulation. Some are feathers and some synthetic. The jacket is huge so covers a lot of your body. And the hood blocks the wind.

    Sorry I down voted your video. The video should have started talking about the layering of your base layer. You could have talked more about extreme boots. There is very good advice on how you can adjust boots to your temperature range. Including different felt insulation and or air gap spacers. Your Opossum headgear is a direct marketing sell. Shame on you. Find me an Opossum in Antarctica. Or any other region -40.

    • @WildKiwiAdventurer
      @WildKiwiAdventurer 3 роки тому +2

      You are welcome to your opinion about the possum but I do encourage you to do your research first about fur and techniques used in manufacturing hats and buffs. My possum fur buffs are used by Tove Sorensen in Norway who has completed the 1000km Finmarkslopet dog sled race 20 times in conditions of -20 to -40 Celsius and she said it's the warmest garment for the job that she has had in her 65 year life living in the Arctic. So please do your research before taking down my product that you clearly have no knowledge about. If you can find a warmer hat in the world please let me know. There are some that equal them, but none that are warmer.
