Your suitcase is beautiful and I love Paris ! My bedroom has a Paris theme and that’s why I watched your video .I just warn you against using hot glue . It breaks down and causes anything you used it on to weaken or fall apart . I have seen it happen to many many of my artist friends for years . Thank you for sharing and inspiring me .

how do you get it so when you paint over the newspaper its smooth and you don't see all the edges of the pieces of paper??? I've been discouraged with paper mache because km such a perfectionist and HATE being able to see all the little edges all over

Hot glue will also separate in cold. So I would also recommend a different adhesive if you are actually going to travel with the case.
