The center discussion is one that is going to be fun for the whole year. Each brings something different that they do well. Looks like Jacobsen is going to be the best shot blocker and lob threat. Berg’s rebounding and toughness looked great today. Burgess is the best perimeter defender and I think is the best shooter. Furst just does everything well and has the senior ability to not make any mistakes. Will be interesting if one separates out as the season goes on. Hopefully Jacobsen ends up alright after the fall.

Purdue will have its struggles this season, but let’s hope they get better week-by-week and are ready to make a strong run in the tournament and into the next season!

Thanks for explaining buy game. I did not know Purdue paid those teams to come and play at Mackey. I am glad they played they played against the zone defense this early in the season. Another educating video!

They pay a lot! In the 6 figures… all teams do it.

Jacobson should have redshirted this ;year. He is just too skinny and fragile to bang against all the bigs in the big ten. Furst should be playing more. He is a senior and putting all those minutes in practice the past three years should mean somthing.

Jacobsen’s upside is too high to sit him on the bench. He has All-Big-Ten potential, and the sooner he gets experience the more dividends he will pay. I think Painter sees it that way.

The thing is it is nice having options. We are comparing 3 or 4 guys to one of the best ever. Edey is having an amazing rookie season so far with Memphis and I could not be more happy for him. Jacobson being injured is a blow - but sounds like also creates opportunity. My problem with Berg is he just does not seem to be able to move like other guys. He seems to really stand in one spot and the actions starts around him and then he's chasing it rather than anticipating what's about to happen and moving pre-emptively. I don't know Burgess game at all and could not see the game last night - but I look forward to seeing more of it. Furst is an incredible talent but seems to get lost out there sometimes. ALL of the team needs to block out better. We tied N. Kentucky in rebounds from what I'm seeing on Kenpom. That is not acceptable.

Not a fair comment to make on TKR with no actual evidence to support it. None of our comments matter but I still don’t like to see a player like TKR be disparaged for no good reason. On a lighter note, #CorpusCrispy. Never change Neub 😂
