Man these videos always slap. Even though it was late I still learned a lot, and it was a good refresher for some changes I forgot about. As a healer main, I’m still not a fan with all the changes they made, but I understand what they are trying to do and I will adjust. Attackers are feeling super fair right now with all the recent changes so I’m glad they aren’t making any drastic changes to them right now. Range type feels good as well, seems like they are finally in a good spot. But DEFENSE my god do they feel strong, almost but not completely busted. The Kamui completely meta shifting, and I think DEF is in contention for the strongest role type. One issue I still have is with Yasaka Beads. They made some changes in this patch, but I still don’t feel much of a difference. The move has absolutely no tracking when it initially comes out so you will completely miss from short to midrange unless you get the knock up and even from further out I sometimes find opponents dodging without even trying. The I-frames are good, but overall it still feels too inconsistent for me to use. Overall I feel like the game is in the best shape it’s been in for a while, in terms of balance and I look forward to your video on the Sasori balance patch. 😁
I totally agree and I am glad to hear you liked it😄🙏🏼 I personally had no issues with yasaka beads close to midrange, i just noticed that on the knockup it definitely feels way smoother. Only thing is that i always froget it will lose tracking after a certain distance😅
@@SenseiiBoba On knock up it feels super good, but I think there’s a certain sweet spot where the opponent is just out of range of the knock up, where the Bead simply flies right over them. @@sauce.. idk i didnt use it much, it PROBABLY has a way to doge it upclose, but at the point where you know it wont hit in a certain distance or when the enemy has a certain form of momentum, then u just dont throw it like that anymore, so i guess its not really an issue, but rather something that you just learn when using it or playing against it a couple times
My favorite combat healer builds is purple lighting ninja tool, palm sage healing, and the kaguya punches and whatever ult u want. Purple lighting gives you armor for palm sage so no interruption on healing and the kaguya punches can one shot if your teammates go in on a target with you
Yh i usually prefer to have 2 sources of healing if i am solo heal and am not in a 4 stack, bc if somebody has a superarmor breaker like almighty push for example, they can counter ur superarmor and just deny your whole healing and just win the fight off that alone. Obviously you can always be smarter than ur opponent and just not let him counter you, but it really kind of depends on how things go. Purple lightning also has a way higher cd than palm sage, so you either wont have it for every palm sage or are not really capitalizing on the low cd of it. But yh I agree its a good build if played right. What I usually prefer tho is running it with hard light instead of purple lightning and then use that with unbending will as accessoire, bc the cooldown of hard light is lower than purple lightning and everytime i get low i get my jutsus back up from undending will, can repell enemies off me with the hard light and heal me and my team back up, kind of like a safety ensurance also a lot more heal. I would usually pair that with a healtag to also have a source of burst heal aswell or any ninjatool that fits the game mode or teamcomp we have. But thats just personal preference
But what about strength of a hundered jutsu it also gives u armor it has 20 sec cd while purple lighting has 30 sec cd is there a reason would like to hear from you?
@@NightSide22 strength of a hundred hard light is lowkey the jutsu i spoke about in my comment😅... idk what the exact question was if i understand it right, reason for what? But incase you mean why one move has 20 sec cd and the other 30 its, bc first of all its not just tgey bith hiving you superarmor and thats it, they are 2 completely different moves that just have one thing in common. One can be used while getting attacked, gets you health backa nd also makes you take less dmg from enemy jutsus, the other one only gices you superarmor but has really high burst dmg and also is a breaker for stuff like waterpillar etc. Then tools are some different thsn jutsus already bc they dont take up the same slot. If you put a hard light on you can still pair that with any other jutsu and a ninjatool, if you put purple lightning you can only put it with 2 jutsus, so there are different things you can combine them with. Also hary light is for one class amd purple lightning is generic for all, they are also dixferent in things like HOW you use them, like sctivation time etc, just 2 different moves i dont understand the question😅

Yh, you have a superarmor and a kamui counter, but ngl 2 supersrmor counter would probably be better in most situations, as explained in the vid there is barely any need to counter kamui. But you can also just have a coolikg breeze on your team or just have a water prison fof example and the whole thing is checked with a single move, but then again its boeing and ineffective to just give a list of things that counter it. It's way better to just understand whats the issues and how to solve them no matter your build. Like, it would be bad advice to just tell people to run a specific build or move, bc what is somebody gonna do who wants to play with lightning blade and lariat for example?👀

Good video man 😂😂😂 but these the type of videos that get us defense players nerfed every patch. As soon as we get a good buff a good jutsu or broken one the community starts crying and complaining Im willing to bet anybody in the next patch or 2 kamui either going to have a shorter duration/longer cool down or remove the ability to reuse the ninja tool
To be fair my last balance patch vid i showed people how to get more out of the defense class, so it's only fair to also show them how to play against them😄
First of all anything that counters superarmor already straight up counters them. And then there are also a lot of moves that can dodge it, so basically half the moves in the game counter it in a way, its just about making the right trades. You need to keep track of enemy cooldowns and anticipate the moves, see them coming and therefore be ready to counter/dodge them. There's literally SO much. Lightning net, angelic advent kamui, icicle swallow, almighty push, truth seeker orbs, yasaka beads... the list goes on and on. Another important aspect is: SPACING If you know whats available on your enemies side and know which range and speed their moves have you can exactly know the different ranges there are in this fight, where they can hit you, but you can't hit them, where you both can hit each other, where you can hit them but they can't hit you etc. Basically for every hit that somebody could connect with whatever action imagine a circle around them snd around you in which you will hit, stack multiple of these circles on top of each other and then you see the fight in a completely different way. It will naturally just make you SEE😅. Like without being better at the game, this already a thing that will just take you to a completely different level of play😄. Really go in there and watch a 1v1 replay of you and really analyze it that way 2 or 3 times, really imagine these different colored circles overlapping each other and where the areas are that give you the advantage and which are the ones you wanna avoid. It might actually be common sense for you in shooters if you played any of these, but most ppl arent able to make the transition to see how that very same principle applies to a game like shinobi striker. In a shooter you want to position in a way that your enemy is more exposed to you than you are to them, bc that gives you the better angle and more opportunity to hit him while it is harder for him to hit you, you also have different ranges in which weapons are effective. A pretty basic exaple that everybody will understand is that you have an advantage by having high ground. Everybody at least has heard of that concept at least ones. Bc its just that you have a better angle than your opponent and can peek them safely, while they are more exposed and can only get a tiny fraction of your hitbox while you peek. So apply that very same concept to shinobi striker and learn to control the range to your advantage and to make reads and prediction on what your enemy will do based ON that, if you know what the right answer to that action is with your current loadout and you can execute it well, you're gonna be able to see it coming and already react right to it as it happens, bc u were prepared. So one thing you can do is tapping in and out of the range in which he can land the moves to bait it out and doge it, or to provoke the action by giving him a fake opening to let him run straight into a silent strangle jutsu for example. Another thing is if you are high enough you wont get hit. Movement speed increases your jumpheight, so in a flash or some movement speed boosting abilities might allow you to dodge it easier by gaining enough height at the right moment. I know this is a whole lot of information to digest and a whole lot fo read and try and understand, but at the same time it is the exact pinpoint advice that you get for free from a professional coach that you won't be able to get anywhere else on youtube, that WILL get you to the next level, I can tell just by the question you were asking. And if you really just analyze 2 or 3 gameplays like that trying to understand the concept right and then in your games focus less on winning and really a lot more on figuring out the different ranges for people in your matches and try to control them to favor you, it's actually gonna develop a whole different understanding of the game for you and will actually allow you to figure a lot of those questions out for yourself
