Have not seen anyone other coaches talk about this except Christina and it works!! Both Nicklaus and Tiger have talked about this move. That is good enough for me.
I have been trying to figure this out for so long and no one could explain it to me adequately until my my husband found your video. He is a good golfer, but couldn’t explain it so that I understood it. Your video was a game changer for me. Thank your for posting these videos to help golfers like me!!! I have been practicing at home until I can go to the range, but I feel so excited about it and believe it’s going to help me tremendously. Ty Ty Ty. Wanda
A lot of instructors dont mention this because they want you to keep coming back. If you learn this move you are already half way there. Way to go Christina.
saguto golf got me on the right track, but christina put me over the top. i’ve never hit it so solid! thank you christina, what a great way to explain the feel of a solid swing.
Christina - Yup, this is gold. Worked on this move this past week per your other video, "Butt print against the wall drill". Hit balls yesterday, distances were beyond anything I've ever seen. Just need to keep it slow for now to engrain this move, which is simple if you PRACTICE WITHOUT BALLS... just do the movement slowly to LEARN it. 🙃🤘
@@MorePars This lesson along with the Match Up Your Lean In & Get In Sync tip videos have gone a LONG way towards feeling so much more in control with my body. Loading the back glute then the front glute is so powerful AND keeps me in sync. I now have a perfect follow through, as you (and many others) demonstrate. Thank you again! (Mark-Nashua)
This is by far the most effective downswing trigger that I've used and it works well with every full shot. I've always used my lower and upper body for the backswing but have never have never used a move this dynamic and repeatable for the downswing. My simple thought for the downswing now is BOOMS 1. This gets booth glutes firing the relatively passive arms (1) and promotes a balanced finish.
None of my coaches has EVER discussed glute activation with me and now it seems crazy. Thanks so much for your videos, especially those focused on pelvis and glutes!
Christina this is exactly how golf should be taught, like an athlete. If someone tries to throw a baseball you feel exactly what you mean. My one swing thought when I play today. Thanks!
This is fascinating Coach - you are the first one I have seen who explains this in a way that breaks it down to its core. Training glute engagement is extremely difficult for most people; go out and find all the people whose pants are falling off because they have zero development in their glutes. For most, engagement of the glutes is a tremendous neurological challenge, especially at speed. That’s why the golf swing is so hard for almost all of us! Much easier to hit it wrong with upper body only. Thank you for your videos
I was taught that when you do the weight shift, think step drill, to the lead foot while bent turn the toes out then explode up. My glutes were sore the next day like a did squats. It helped me turn through the ball so good.

Thank you. Just an fyi, of all the golf channels on UA-cam , yours is the only one to which I subscribe. Thanks for the help for an old timer in AZ.

FANTASTIC! Yes, practicing the move slowly (a ton) allows your brain to connect the dots...in this case to your butt ha ha.

You do such a great good of movements during the golf swing

Great comment Michael. You are spot on!

Very helpful vid lesson! Thanks! 👍🇨🇦
Christina is absolutely an amazing instructor, what shoes are you wearing also 😎
Heard about doing this on the tee with the driver but not for all shots
Went out on the course today. Golf thought: finger print my butt to the wall. Love it. Thank you.
Great Tip
Great Job!
Is this the same for all your clubs in the bag
Love it Christina ❤️
Yes, I would like to use my glutes. But how do I get your quads?
Ba BOOM ! I LIKE IT Great lesson !
Glad you liked it! Thanks for watching!
@@MorePars I do not get to the top of the backswing. Club is slightly more than verticle. Do you have a cure?
You glutinous minimus is so maximus. 👍🏻👍🏻. I feel you🍻
Just like dancing!!!!
The “hip pushing through” is pelvic TILT. Lots going on in this video.
Yes, it is pelvic tilt. This is another way to get there as many players struggle with this move. Thanks for watching.
