SCP-XXXX is a UA-cam channel titled "SCP Explained." Initially, SCP-XXXX appeared to be a standard SCP fan channel, producing original content based on SCP Foundation lore, theories, and analyses. However, in late 2023, SCP-XXXX's behavior began to change noticeably. Rather than producing new original content, SCP-XXXX started releasing compilations of its older videos at an increasing rate. These compilations quickly gained significant traction on the platform, gathering views and revenue for SCP-XXXX.
The anomalous properties of SCP-XXXX manifest in the content of the compilations. Welp, it's been almost half-a-year since they've uploaded a non-compilation. Viewership has dropped tremendously over time. It's fair to assume whoever runs the multitude of Explained youtube channels plans on slowly but surely killing off this channel. It was a great run these last few years but, well... R.I.P SCP Explained.

They probably do but then also voice their opinion on the current way the content is being posted.
That’s when SCP channels were popular. These compilation videos are a desperate bid for survival.
Go back and look at their videos from say a year and a half or so ago and then come back to present day. Look at the views each one has lesser and lesser.
Look at the last couple weeks they’re barely getting a few tens of thousand now.
That’s because more people are being turned off by these long compilation videos, combined with UA-cam no longer promoting SCP channels like they used to.
They're cannibalizing their viewer numbers longterm but what choice do they have?

Yeah, I do the same thing, but I do it with the playlist. I find it easier to go back to specific ones and to not hear repeats if I do that.

Well in one of the testing logs (By Auther Dr Dan) They explain how they took a photo of SCP-096's face and put it in a sealed envelope. They then sent a former tatoo artist, (D-9031) to the bottom of the tonga trench, He was then made to open the envelope and draw Its face in as much detail as possible. The mission succeded and the Foundation got the drawing, however 096 eventually punctured the submarine, leading to the death of the poor old D-class, but hey There made to be disposable anyway right? I haven't made any good content yet however hopefully this month I should start making "real" content, Likely based on the file and missions involving 096. I ain't promoting but just incase you wanted to stop by

1. They've been doing only hours long compilations for like 6, 7 months now?
2. No one has time for it. Period. Let's say someone is still young, they don't have a job or responsibilities but they somehow don't have school either. Even when they just started making only compilations, that person would only be watching that channel and that's it. They wouldn't be able to watch a regular 10 minute video if they wanted to watch the compilation all the way through without getting behind. And then if they get behind they'd stay behind permanently (or until SCP Explained stops uploading compilations).
3. A lot of us actually have things to do, school, work, life, and watch other UA-cam channels.
4. "Just watch the first video of the compilation and skip to the next one"
.....that misses the entire point. They could have been doing that instead of uploading 3 to 9 hour long compilations. But no, idk if they're just greedy, stupid, change in management, maybe HiThereHunter(the voice actor for SCP Explained got fired or died, idk). I think at this point, HiThereHunter is no longer working with them if the compilations are entirely new content. They would have gotten AI to be trained from his voice and only that and they got it down perfectly then.
5. It's just stupid. "Oh look, another 9 hour long compilation". Am I going to watch the first part only? Or watch it all and waste a whole entire day when I could have used that to do work, watch other UA-cam videos, etc.

Scp 2912 clowny clown clown. 3 human like clown entities each deformed and less than human. The first instance being a black and white clown resemblance to an air filled balloon able to float around. His head arms and legs being vestigial. His head being deformed in the shape of a party hat and his only vocalization being through a party horn tongue. The 2nd one being the tallest standing at over 2 meters. Has broken arms and legs and red polka dots all over its body it can harmonize with and a vestigial big red nose and no eyes. The 3rd being closer related to humans meaning he may have been one. Being a historic European clown. Able to create cream pies using molecules in the air and a cognito hazard laughter which causes those around him to laugh from 5-48 hours.
They were found in a fair hosted by the Herman fuller circus of disquieting. As all the other tents had packed up and moved their tent was the only one left. Upon their discovery their creator poi 4596 dick c normous who was discovered along with the clowns and taken into custody.

A commander of the wondertainment factory took him with the intent to raise him differently. Not much was heard of him. But part of mr brasses file revealed the little misters being a band. And in the album step outside and smile. Mr redd jr was the guitar player.

Scp 2241 vs when day breaks
After scp 076-2s battle with scp 682 scp-076-2 heard faint crying noises nearby and stumbled upon SCP-2241 while he was traveling the ruined streets of a city that had been ravaged by SCP-001-when day breaks victims- scp 076-2 was searching for abandoned stores with materials he needed for his new base he went to after his battle and lived there with other scps who were contained at the site. Knowing they would need food He began gathering tools such as seeds, water, and led lights to grow the plants. SCP-2241 the superhero wannabe. Who was on the verge of death after hiding in a sewer tunnel hiding from the creatures affected by the sun. The creatures and the sun had prevented scp 2241 from getting usable food and water.
SCP-076-2 recognized scp 2241s voice and knew that he had to act fast. Without hesitation he pryed off a manhole, and slayed the creatures trying to get to scp 2241 and wrapped scp 2241 in a big black cloak, and carried scp 2241 on his back. After carrying SCP-2241 to safety, SCP-076-2 reached the abandoned site which he had turned into a base and lived there with SCP-2094, SCP-1799, scp 4409, scp 2622, and SCP-014. When the 2 made it to the site, scp 014(using a rod controlled by his mouth) had let the 2 of them into the base
He laid SCP-2241 on the ground and immediately went to retrieve some electrolytes and dried meat to help him regain his strength.
Once SCP-2241 had regained some of his strength, SCP-2094 approached him and offered him a few words of comfort. SCP-1799, though difficult to communicate with due to his anomalous effect, managed to make SCP-2241 laugh with his jokes, which helped lift his spirits. Instead of being upset Mr laugh was happy he was able to make Cameron laugh.
SCP-2241 was still in a fragile state, but the combined efforts of SCP-076-2, SCP-014, SCP-2094, and SCP-1799 had given him a fighting chance. They all vowed to protect SCP-2241 until he was well enough to take care of himself. SCP-076-2, in particular, felt a sense of responsibility for SCP-2241's survival and was determined to see him through this crisis.
During the night while scp 2241 had played on a ds able found in an abandoned Best Buy, scp 2094(motor mouth) and scp 4409(elephant man) were playing poker. Scp 1799(mr.laugh) was trying to locate the other little misters using the surveillance room to look into other scp sites because he believed their immortality could protect them from the sun. scp 014 concrete man was keeping watch on monitors to see if any monsters or survivors were out there. Scp 076-2 was inspecting the tunnels scp 2622(the ambassador) had created to other stores such as winco to find food, best buy to get more cameras, and lowes to get tools if repairs were necessary. They saw the soil in the walls moving and falling apart. Scp 2622 was ready with his musket and scp 076-2 was ready with his sword believing a creature was about to come out. It turned out to be dr brights group and their tunnels had connected. Instead of fighting they knew in order to survive they had to put their differences aside in order to survive and save more people.
Hippie able if scp 076-2 was put into scp 914. One day while dr bright and dr cleft were talking. Scp 076-2 broke out of his coffin and escaped his bunker. And breached containment and chased the 2 of them. While they ran from him they split up to trick him. Able ran after dr bright who ran into the containment cell of scp 914 where dr Palmer was and was putting green tea leaves incense and cbd oil and gummies when she was about to put a pumpkin in When dr bright told her about able chasing him.
In fear dr Palmer dropped the pumpkin causing able to slip and fall into scp 914. When they trapped him in. Instead of calling guards they activated the machine to the fine setting. When he came out. They expected to see a more violent version of him but saw the exact opposite. When he walked out he was smaller had lost all his muscles and scars and tattoos. And was now wearing a tye dye shirt a leather vest and pants a peace sign necklace a tye dye bandanna and round blue sunglasses.
When he walked out he was speaking like a stereotypical hippie saying stuff like far out and groovy. And he was tested on. His pocket dimension could no longer summon weapons and instead instruments and gardening tools. When he died. Instead of proofing into ashes like In infinity war he turned into compost which made plants grow faster reaching maturity in a few days. And made them immune to scp 073s effects. And he would eventually summon in scp 076-1 which was changed to a blue Volkswagen minivan which had the interior being a mattress a battery powered tv with stoner shows like athf bobs burgers archer and bojack horseman. A marijuana plant and a fish tank.
After that he was transferred to a new cell furnished similar to camp grounds with a few trees a picnic table and a park grill. After his transformation was brought to the attention of other scps they asked to meet him.
Scp 343 god went in first and was happy to see his grandson calm and happy for the first time in thousands of years and wished him luck in his new life.
Next scp 073 Cain went in and the 2 shared their first brother moment since containment. Playing in the plants as Cain was unable to harm the plants due to the compost and able to eat fruit for the first time since his curse and lay in the grass.
Next scp 999 went in and tackled able and tickled him making him laugh and played with him.
Next scp 507 reappeared in the dimension and went to visit able since on the wiki page they are considered to be friends and the 2 hung out. And played tic tac toe
Next dr bright went in and able apologized for killing him years ago and causing him to be bonded to 963. To which he accepted his apology and the 2 became friends.
Eventually dr Palmer used scp 978 the desire camera on him while he led a drum circle with the other scps. And the result was his original photo but there was no burning city his brother was still alive and there was more livestock.
