I don't understand!!! He said this nebula is the coldest place in the universe, but the at 5:23, he says the white dwarf is extremely hot. Which one is it, man? 😂😂😂
It may seem counterintuitive, but the star is immensely smaller than the nebula, and is not capable of heating the nebula. The gases are expelled at immense speeds and gain great volume. Like a pressure cooker, the air inside is very hot, but just a few inches from the valve the air is already considerably cooler.
I couldn't find it anywhere. What I found was just: The central star within the Boomerang Nebula does not have a specific, widely recognized name, but is generally referred to as a "Boomerang Nebula Central Star"
