hey anthony great guide mate ive recently transitioned over to using no assists and have had my first 2 league races this week in ern was 6th at brazil but had a disaster race at portimao not a strong track of mine but one of the drivers couldnt drive in there was all over the place and nearly ended my race and then tried overtaking someone at turn 2 think it is where the sausage kerb is but i clipped the damn thing 🙃spun round and for no reason the game gave me a 10 sec god damn time pen for cutting the track what could i do 🙄but again still getting used to using ers and how to manage it and have bahrain and spa coming up this week so will take them points you made on board with me great guide anthony mate very helpful indeed
If you get weird penalties given by the game, you could always send it in to the stewards of your league to review. It will most likely be removed (from your finishing time).

@@revirdkcalb ahh right didnt know that well its past the deadline date now anyway to send the clips in so not too bothered about it had a disaster finish anyway but find it bs the game still gives you that kind of pen when you cant control it going off track 🙄
@@SidOfRivia yes mate i have trying to learn no assists this year not easy though finding it difficult to do and find the right setups
@@DanMufc-jt9le i run no assists but the 2D line in corners is what i struggle the most with, it feels impossible to drive without it

Do you know if there is such thing as force feedback clipping in f12021 like there is in iracing. If so how do you see if you are experiencing it. Would be helpful to know if there are any downsides to turning ffb to the max particularly on lower end wheels like the g29.
From what I understand yes it's possible, I guess you would just lose feeling of the car. I haven't experienced FFB Clipping tbh as my FFB hasn't ever been too high.

Yes, using ERS to get within DRS when you are like 1.1 seconds behind right before the detection line. I've seen guys lose races because they were too confident in their pace or too hesitant to use ERS. Like big youtuber kind of guys.
Saving ERS is nice but you have to be smart about deploying it as well.
It's better to be in somebody's DRS than it is to have 60% of ERS. There is a reason that esports driver's first thought is to break DRS.
You can save ERS back by simply following someone else.
Some even struggle ERS in 5 lappers LOL

How much of a difference will it make if take ERS of auto and do it myself?
A massive difference, you will have more control over when you use overtake. Auto just drains your battery and then when you need ERS most, you don't have any left.

@@BushiAntz do you think you'll be faster by using a Direct drive wheel or is the thrustmaster capable enough to compete at the highest level of competition(Esports)
There are people doing the F1 Esports Challengers on a controller. It's defo possible to get to Esports level with a Thrustmaster. However, from hearing others who have Direct Drive, I can see myself being more consistent with it.

What about pedals? Do you use the T-LCM loadcell ones or regular T3PA?
I use the loadcell pedals. Definitely worth it but not needed 😁
