Also, better to start swimming lessons by teaching "drownproofing". For the majority of people it's easy, takes five minutes, and in good conditions you can stay afloat almost indefinitely. Wiki has a good article on it.

@@agentmugshots You'd know if you saw the starlink satellites reflecting the sun, they travel at a steady speed and there are many of them in a row! It looks a bit creepy, but you can tell they're much higher up than airplanes.
I saw them once, about an hour after the sun had gone down - a whole line of them stretched across the sky, Earth's manmade ring.

The biggest hassle is definitely transport, but it just needs some time to get used to. Everything else is just magical. The best sites in the philippines are the places outside the city. The weather gods are on your side because after you guys left it started raining again, that was wild 😂 it feels rigged lmao! Thanks for visiting our country and we are glad you are looking forward to coming back again. Can’t wait for you guys to try CORON/ EL NIDO PALAWAN!
The funny thing is, Leslie took the public route she experience first hand the hassle and scammers going to the hotel. While the other have a VIP treatment from the hotel but Leslie didn't know that it came with that. 🤣🤭

I went to Boracay in 2007 and maaaaan it was beautiful. I got tanned af lol. Food was great, service was great, people are nice and funny, the whole vibe is perfection

The way to tell if it is a star or a planet is that a star will twinkle and a planet will not. As some people have already mentioned in the comments, this was most likely Venus.
The only star here is the one holding the camera. Ok i havnt had my coffee yet, i promise my jokes get better during the day.
I like your natural look (without or less makeup). You can easily get back into PH incognito and enjoy just being yourself. So glad you didn't cancel your trip because thunderstorms literally come and go (some don't even last full-5 minutes) in most places in the PH. If you guys ever decide to come back, highly recommend Siargao, or El Nido, Palawan!!! And make sure to stay longer!!!

I'm pretty sure it was. I think the ferry and the tricycle at the beginning was the "wrong route". She just didn't Vlog the part where they told her it was the wrong one. Since I'm sure she should have been picked up from the airport by the van directly by the hotel.

I was taught as a child that one way to differentiate it is if you look see that it twinkles, it's a star, but if it doesn't, it's actually a planet in our solar system.
that's the planet Venus, but interestingly enough it's also called the "Evening Star" and the "Morning Star" , because they say it's the first "star" you'll see in the evening and the last one you'll see when morning comes.

i miss going to boracay, my family were planning going there back in 2020 but there was covid and the place got flooded? i think so we couldnt go :(
Thunderstorms didn't come until after you guys left. The day you flew back was the day I arrived in Boracay and it was raining my whole stay there (4 days). Pretty bummed out I didn't get to go out much but still had a lot of fun with my family.
Very fun travel vlog! If you've considered your accommodation cheap, then that's already almost the peak of how much you can spend and enjoy at one of best beach place here in the philippines. A little more spending would make you feel all your money's worth. We hope to see you here soon leslie! Have a safe trip.

Thunderstorms are normal during the afternoon in the Philippines. Because it's too hot since morning the clouds will accumulate density and will rain in the afternoon in the form of thunderstorm.

It's either star or venus It's visible when sunset is over. Here in my hometown you can see both star moon and venus together and that's so cool.

Mars and Venus is pretty much always visible here in the Philippines and based on where you are at, it is most likely planet VENUS
It's a planet, you can see them earlier than the stars cause they are the nearest. Also they shine the brightest and doesn't twinkle like the stars

It's either a planet (cant remember which) at sunset, the international space station or a satellite. Tip from my astronomy past geeky self stars "blink" or you see them flicker thats a better word, with other things like planets the ISS or satellites you don't see that effect usually. It's Venus, it's the first thing that you see shining before any constellation idk what why but thats what I learn from my astronomy class
It's Venus! I saw it on the first of this month and my dad looked it up to see what it was. I think you can see it throughout the whole month but idk. Mars is also supposed to be seen and I've seen it but it was very small.
