This car is aimed at the younger generation🤣. Well I’m 73.5 years old and bought my Brabus on October 4th. I’m 2,000 miles in and love every minute of it. Not sure why you only got 4.1 0-60 I get it in 3.7 seconds. Note it does gradually decrease at a lower state of battery charge. I wanted this car since the concept and bought the t-shirt and Brabus team jacket over a year ago 😂 It was shipped without Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and these are now added with an over the air update as promised. Oh the standing quarter mile is an impressive 12.1 seconds at its flat out speed of 112 mph. Anything else give me a shout on here or better still on X twiX I call it.
I wouldn’t say younger generation personally but I love that you’re 73.5 year young and have one 🙌 I think it was only because it was in the 21-40% range during my drive it must have been. It’s amazing that you can get over the air upgrades like that isn’t it that’s great to hear ❤️🙌 That 1/4 mile time is amazing too 🙌 thank you Garry keep in touch and please subscribe we need more good people like you on here with us ❤️❤️
Thank you so much I honestly appreciate that a lot. Yeah I’m certain of that, it’s crazy how good the times are even with a low state of charge 👌 very impressed
I do agree that the system is slightly busy but it is really easy to understand and play around. The infotainment system is fun to see and gives life inside the car especially the fox. The only problem in the car infotainment is a tiny software issue that disconnects the online service (connection betweeen the car and car phone app) for no reason. All in all the car is amazing. I have a premium #1 and I love it😍❤️
Yeah I really liked it, I swear it seems to be a thing with most EV’s and that’s a shame to hear but yeah all round it’s such a great car as is the premium #1 ❤️🙌
Great news, absolutely loved my drive in this and with discount your certainly not going to be disappointed it’s a rocket and it has a very decent chassis too 🙌 Thanks so much for the watching and commenting, what colour did you go for?
You wanted a comment on that central display. Well. I'm 62 and I think it's really nice. Not sure about the fox as I'm more of a cat person. But it's still OK. Nut it looks like all the important driving driving information is directly in front of the driver. Whether it's by the drivers instrument binacle or the HUD. _Something that puts me off ever getting a Tesla as their cabins are just too bland and stark for my liking. Regardless of how good their running system may be._ As for the Brabus #1. It's a damn nice looking car. Dare I say it, but it could have had a Mini badge on as it has a Mini look to it. 8-\\... And I like the Mini's having had 5 in the past over some 45+ years of driving. Good video too. 👍
Thank you so much for the comment and compliment on the video too, always great to have people’s thoughts on it 👌👍 I totally agree it looks great, the curves and all shutlines etc are great and it looks really high quality and glad you agree. Where in the world are you? Thanks so much for watching, please stick around and subscribe as we need more good people like you on here with us 🙌
@@PeakPerformanceReviews Thank you. I'm UK. Though born in Zanzibar as my dad was working their for the Brit. Government. We had to leave due to a revolution.
Ah amazing and sad all at the same time but great to hear! Hope life in the UK is good for you or as good as it can be ❤️🙌 again thank you so much for watching 🙌🫶
Thank you so much for the kind words, the interior fit and finish is better on this for sure the X-Power feels more of a fun/crazy/on edge drive on its fastest settings but this kinda feels more flat and accomplished. I’m weird I like mad dangerous wild feeling cars so prefer the X-Power for the drive but for most normal days this would be better for sure. It’s so close as a rounded vehicle for me for that reason. Like I say quality of fit and finish/general interior this has the X-Power beaten easily. I think for those reason I would say try to drive both, you couldn’t go far wrong with either both cracking cars. The smart seemly was getting 0.1-0.2 Miles per Kilowatt hr on average better range I found too
Thank you for the reply, both cars really look crazy fast and the interior looks much better on the smart. But just checked and the Smart is coming in double the monthly cost at £675 compared to £370 for the xpower so Def will be heading more towards the xpower
Yeah this was what I commented to the press team it was on between 29-21% left on the range so this was likely why we think, seriously impressive and it just constantly did 4.1 non stop and I did loads haha. Would hit 3.9-3.8 at a guess with little problem rapidly and amazing car 🙌 thanks for watching by the way
Great review. I have one so realised about the state of charge affecting the performance, so when they say only charge to 80 or 90% I generally charge to 100% as I know the full performance will be reduced in no time. It's a bit misleading by some of the car companies not mentioning how the state of charge affects the performance. It's the one thing I see petrol and diesel cars have over an EV @@PeakPerformanceReviews
Thank you so so much for that, honestly please stick around and subscribe we need more good people like you on here with us 🙌 That’s awesome to hear and I’ve noticed it in my Cupra born so it’s quite believable and likely 👌 thank you again
Hi Ross I got this back - Hi Alex, thanks for reaching out. You cannot remove/turn off an avatar like fox or cheetah, however you can mute the voice assistant. This fixation with 0 - 60 mph just befuddles me Yes it is some kind of indication of how fast a car accelerates but a more relevant set of measures is 30 - 70 or 40 to 70 as this is real world overtaking speeds (or joining motorways) and is where MOST people will use this power. BS nonsense journalism as always Not real world driving stupid focus in test track proving "0 - 60 MPH" WHY? Get real!
I think with smaller channels like mine it’s more for the algorithm, I honestly agree. I’m mean having an airstrip and testing load more metrics would be even better but it’s not feasible at the moment. More than anything it’s to test to see if it hits manufacturer specs etc Anyway thanks for stopping by all the same have a great rest of your year
0-60 is just a useful metric most people can understand and is basically standardised all around the world. People can easily figure out how it applies to their local road laws, etc. More real-world tests too is better of course.
Let me put it this way. I tested the Pro+ recently, accelerated on the entry lane of the highway and immediately had police on my tail... You do not need the extra power of the Brabus in everyday traffic, but it's fun and I'm considering buying one

@@PeakPerformanceReviews Subscribed ⚡️yes it was definitely the state of change being too low for 0-60 in the 3s ⚡️

Great review, can't decide between this or the Mg4 X power? I know you have driven both, which do you prefer?

That’s crazy the extra cost so yeah easy choice for sure, it’s still lovely inside too and as per my comments you’ll love it ❤️🙌
I bought a green MG4 XPower for £35,595. It does 0-60mph in 3.7s and UA-cam reviewers have verified this. Decision made surely.
@@renz2.060 we managed a 3.8 on our test review on one too so I’m in no doubt it’ll hit the 3.7 also and certainly is a rapid beast
Damn these fast electric cars. That's AMG A45s fast.
Madness isn’t it, yep I’m gonna have to be careful in my RS3 too…. Mind you, you ain’t gonna beat that 5 pot name
What was the state of charge when testing the 0-60 ? It gets slower as the battery state of charge declines
