You are in for a HUGE treat today - 3 Prim House Tours!!! The first one is Donna from Ohio who has a Farmhouse built in 1854! You are going to love it all decked out in PRIM. Donna also has an ETSY shop called "Vintage Snippets"!
Now here's where things get crazy - Diana from Ohio is next and she has a gorgeous PRIM decorated home too and guess what IT TURNS OUT THAT DONNA AND DIANA ARE IDENTICAL TWINS!!!! WOW! I made this video before I knew that! Anyway, you are going to love her home too! It's a more modern home and she decorated with perfectly with PRIM - proving that it CAN be done!
And lastly we have Kathi - who is NOT related to Donna and Diana. Her home takes PRIM a step back in time to furniture that you would see right off the Mayflower - really - her antique pieces are amazing! I feel like I'm visiting Old Salem when I look in her home!

Ever since I found your channel, I check in every single day and I find you more and more interesting. I'm a huge fan of primitives. My house is not, by any means, a primitive home like your house, Laney's, Mel's and Alice's houses, but my house is full of primitives and country stuff. It makes me happy simply by watching your videos. So keep doing what you're doing. You're doing a great job and I thank you for all your hard work.

So cool. Its a challenge to find primitive home decor tours these days. Its all 'modern farmhouse' these days. My mom's from Kansas and had taught me a love of primitive from a young age.

These ladies are quite the collectors of early American and early Europe too in that last home. Very fun to see these homes. Almost museums. I can't imagine myself living that primative..but very beautiful homes!! I'm more country..😉 Thanks Anne beautifully done. Love the piano music.

Debbie, I've felt badly for so long now that you must think I never responded to you personally about the Stebner crockery. I tried to send you my e-mail through a reply, but my address was removed almost as immediately as I wrote it. Must be against the guidelines for me to put my e-mail address in these comments. I remember you said you have a large Stebner collection and I think you were going to send me some pictures. So sorry that didnt work out.

Loved! the content in these homes, but would like to see less melancholy music. Something like relaxing but happier Richard Clayderman, Lorie Line, etc, to go along with these happy spaces. Thank you for all you do. Home tours with instrumental music are my faves for playing throughout the day.

Anne, I just discovered your channel, how delightful, especially when you are narrating them. Question: what is primitives verses antique verses collectible.
Hi Karleen - welcome to the channel! Sometimes they are all the same thing - Primitives can be antiques unless they are reproductions - collectibles are things that are in demand or if you have a collection of primitives. You can have collectibles that aren't primitives and antiques that aren't primitives depending on the style. Basically primitive is a very perfunctory style - basic, very early american, simple life....

Good question Lulu - maybe one of our decorators can answer that!
The glass cylinders are called "glass cylinder hurricane candle shades" or "open ended glass hurricane candle shades." I got mine in Pennsylvania and they are 12 h. by 6 3/4' d. I see one online at glassvasesdepot.com that is 10 h. by 7" d. That is the closest in size to mine that I have been able to find online in a quick check, but there may be other online shops who have the 12" height. Hope this helps!
