A top jacket, I have it in blue. Make sure you order 1 size down. Am 5.8, average build. Ordered a small fits like a glove, I can only put 2 layers underneath. (you don't need many as the jacket is warm and cozy) Amazing and stylish jacket... Made to last.👍
Why are you telling people to size down, especially when it’s a Euro slim cut jacket and especially because in the winter you want to layer. These jackets run small if anything. You’re wrong here.
problem of this jacket is the lining, it's horrible. the quills are easily poking through the lining and down is coming out. I purchased one but now I want to return it only for this reason. Huge issue, in my oppinion. The G-100 is indeed really hardwearing (I have some others fjallraven G-1000 items) but unfortunately there will not be any down left until the g-1000 will show any signs of wear.
Every down garment on the planet will shed feathers. It's not a fault of design, it's just the way it works. Obviously if there is excessive leakage, that's an issue. You'll have to buy a jacket made from oil (polyester) if you don't want that to happen
Pity they don't talk about function. It's it for tough writers? - 35C or more towards - 5C

Hi, It depends on what layers is used and the level of activity. But overall the Greenland No1 Down jacket is used around 0C to around -10C. We don´t have any absolute temp rating on the jackets.
I agree it is good for 0 to -10C. The best feature is that it is durable enough to hand down to the next generation. I also like that it is quiet in cold weather and resists odours well. It is good for dry fall and winter in (southern) Canada and allows the humidity under the arms to go right through the jacket. Hood is well designed. Fits closer to the body than a parka so good for working outside too.
My favorite jacket. Warm, durable and with a timeless design. I wear it all the time in cold weather.
