I cannot express to you in words how grateful I am to have this beautiful tutorial. I made the little lamb and it’s simply adorable. Thank you very kindly for sharing your talents with us. Thank you ❤️♥️🙏☺️🇨🇦♥️♥️♥️♥️☺️
I must say that the way you attach your ears and limbs, etc, is a revolution. I have not seen any other tutorials sewing right into the body and back out the same hole and letting the stuffing secure everything. It's fantastic! So much easier to keep everything from moving around. So helpful.
Thank you for doing it right along with us. That is really helpful. Love your cat. I had to laugh when you tried ignoring Buttens when things were crashing to the floor. Love my little lamb.
Thank you so much for this detailed tutorial❤ I have made this little lovey lamb for a cancer for kids drive in South Africa. A young cancer girl was given a handmade lamb by her granny, who told her that the Lamb of God, Jesus, was always with her. The young girl was so comforted about the thought that she decided to challenge South Afticans to make lambs/sheep to be handed to all child cancer patients.🙏
Love your patterns just made one and I did it in yellow grey and white how beautiful. This pattern was so simple I’m an intermediate and I appreciate your simplicity in this tutorial thank you
I've been looking for a video that walks me through the entire project. THANK YOU!!! I busted out laughing at row 10 when the cat stopped to scratch his head on your hand lol
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I made this adorable lovey of yours! Your explanations were very clear and I just followed your instructions. Your efforts are much appreciated.
as someone mention already thank you for following through the hole video, not many or none I watch so far ever did this. Please keep doing it found you today (Jan. 2/22) I know this took you a long time to do but this is how you keep us.
Thank you! Very sweet end result! Worth the effort. Great tutorial. Although you crochet so much faster than me. LOL. For every one stitch of mine, you do four or five. haha. I understand why you stressed stuffing the head so full, with all the stitches going through it, it loosened up by the end. :)
Thank you for a great tutorial this is the first project (other than a baby blanket) that I have ever made. Had to research how to do the magic ring and have got that now. I have been a knitter since a youngster and always wanted to crochet and with the perseverance of crafters like yourself preparing these tutorials this has opened up a new craft for myself xxx
Love love your tutorial and love your methods of teaching Thank you very much .I have not seen any new tutorials are you still making things for tutorials and I just missed them I look forward for new ones Thank you again
( Really appreciate your time and patience,)most people would tell you to finish and would come back when they reached the end. Number 1 reason why people quit, they are confused and discouraged with the work, pluse lost in pattern. And give up
Hi, I don’t know if you’ll see this but do you have any recommendations on how to clean or wash this? I wanted to make sure it was clean before I sent it to my cousin
Hi kitten I was wondering if you could help me please. I'm a beginner in trying to follow your video I'm on row 2 and I keep out the wrong stitch in the wrong place. I've tried following and using stitch markers for single crochet and different colours and type for we're one stitch goes and we're two stitches goes and so on but I can't master the way it should be. Is there any chance of a tip you can help me on please. Thank you .😊😊
Loved it, could you put where on the video each parts are pls? This will help, heaps, as some we have to make. X 2. Also we can follow your easy and clear instruction if we want to do a head ? Arms! Etc for something else. Thank you very much.
Can you share how to begin the blanket if it is not being attached to the head. I made the head separate thinking I was going to use a different blanket but i really like the one in the video. Thank you
@@kittensandcrochet Forget it. Your directions were not understandable and I couldn't see what you were doing with the white color yarn. The worst part is trying to go back or forward because of the timing. And really the squeaking of your yarn was annoying.
@@ruby07241 all I did was right down what time I was in on the video if I had to stop. If ya click on the settings you should be able to see and read what she is saying. Hope this help good luck
Love the video ! Question can I switch to a different yarn material for the blanket like a softer yarn like baby blanket bernett one ? Would I get same results ? Thanks
Do you have written instructions? I work Monday through Friday by full day so only have weekends to crochet and on Sunday I sat the whole day with headphones on a laptop playing the video and rewinding and trying to keep up. I kept pressing the wrong place to stop and it would go back to the beginning. I have two grandbabies due next month and can't sit and do this again without written instructions.
Do you think lion brand pound of love yarn would be ok to use, label says super soft 4 ply worsted weight, i am concerned it may not be study enough for head, thank you so much🙂awesome tutorial
To be honest I am not sure if it will work. I dont typically use lion brand. I looked only for good substitutes for red heart with love and lion brand pound of love was not on the list
@@kittensandcrochet hi I was confused on the single crochet rows of how often to increase stitches & how many each row. I love how yours came out & I get how to do the corners just problems with single crochet rows x
Your just adding 1 extra sc to each side as close to the middle as possible. So each row you are increasing by 4. For example if there is 14 stitches on one side of the blanket place 1sc in the first 7sts and then in the 8th put 2sc. Then in the remaining 6sts just put 1sc. And you will do that on each side of the blanket.
Oh thank you so much for your help & now I get it. That’s brilliant can’t wait to get going again with it now. Great help & fast response, many thanks for a fabulous tutorial x
Hi ... lovely project, but would be helpful to have the text for each row at the top of the screen so you know where you are if you fast forward or back as watching you single cricket complete rounds over and over is like watching paint dry I’m afraid, eg all you had to say for the head was row 7-12 SC , I’ll do it off camera and meet you back here at the end ... it would cut down your video time enormously. Hope that’s constructive criticism because as I said it’s a really cute project. Thank you
Ok I am down to doing row 17, n closing the head ? Where is the 12 row of closing it’s? I redid 3 times n still don’t have 12 row of closing it? On row 16 I have 12 but according to your video, it shows that you only did eight stitches of clothes it ? N the other think is why can’t u see u doing , your video starts u doing n then its to high up. I dont understand why am I going to the cow blanket? U really got me lost n I been crocheting for over 60 years n this is the first I never hear going to someone else to do the blanket! I hope u can explain this cause I have cow pattern, but my granddaughter loves lamb n that why I buy yours!!! . I am very disappointed with what you’re doing in this pattern so I’m hoping you can straighten out. ASAP
At end of row 16 you have 12sts. See 23 minutes into video At the end of row 17 you have 8sts. See 27 minutes into video. Then you close the 8 sts You don't need to go to any other video as the entire lamb is in one video
I love your videos except for one thing. The constant squeaky sound coming from the yarn that you use. I have stopped using yarns that have that squeaky sound to them when I crochet as there is also so much friction which is very annoying and removes the enjoyment of making any crochet project. Thank you for the otherwise excellent instructions. Love your cat Buttons.
I love your tutorials! For those of you who took the time to comment on the squeaky hook, take the extra time to fix squeaky hooks, rub your hook with candle wax🎉🎉 no apologies needed.
Too difficult to follow. Especially the part after the head, creating the basic pattern for start of the blanket section. The turning was a nightmare and threw me complete off. Gave up and went on to another tutorial. Finished in less than 6 hours.
I enjoyed making this Lamb blanket. I added 2 rows of grey in single crochet & I love it. Thank you for your step by step comments.

good morning luv this tutorial would you have the written instructions on how to make this lovely security blanket
thank you in advance terry

I think the squeaky sound from your hand rubbing on the mat is an attraction to the cat too? Must think it’s a toy! Lol

When I wash mine I just wash it alone on the handwash cycle.
Have you made a French bulldog one of these??? I wana make one for my son...
I finished it!!! It looks almost as pretty as yours ... thank you 💕🐑

Hi... Do you have any advice for converting this to use a #2 cotton yarn?
Use a smaller hook but other than that no I don't sorry 😔
I want to try, but I also really need a written pattern to help me follow along!
Me, too! No captioning doesn’t help either and I’m deaf.
