    the high taper really goes good w his type of hair it fits well. i’m waiting on my mullet to grow out i just started it so i had to cut my hair short but i hope my hair comes out good.

      Just depends on what you’re going for. I pull straight out 90 from the ridge.

    Man looks like a completely different person. I love it. Tried getting a similar haircut myself just recently but I think the back was cut shorter than I would have liked and too much was taken off the sides as well. That or it just looks better on this guy. Either way, mullets are pretty popular lately and I'm a new barber with my first job so I think I may end up watching this video a lot to learn.

    I want to ask why in the back u go diagonal section only from right to left ? I thought it would be not symetric if u won t do same from left to right. THANKS for your response

      It’s all being cut the same length, could have done vertically as well. This was the most comfortable and natural grip for me

    Great video i have a high taper mullet 8 months already but i never touched from the ear back this video probably made me change my mind. My hair is curly tho any thoughts if i should remove more from the sides?

      I think it looks good when it comes off the back of the head more square than when it’s full behind the ears. I think if it’s cut right it would look good.

      Have gotten used to just using the fusion and that’s what I’m using now. The stretch bracket makes it open up enough to make it happen

      It stays clean easier. I use my beam on the road, but if I don’t have to be mobile I use the old corded one.

    Why do you use the tip/end of the comb when you part the sides 0:53 but a different technique when you part the center 2:57?

      Just use some product when it’s damp. Blowdry and scrunch with your hands until it’s gets some texture and shape

    Quick question. Im starting to cut younger and older clients and ive noticed my trimmers are too sharp. I use Babyliss fx trimmers. Any suggestions on models that are sensitive skin friendly but still hit ?

      Just need to adjust them a little different. That’s my main trimmer I use if it’s set right it won’t be too sharp

      I use a wahl beret it is really quiet so good for kids and soft on the skin! Pretty cheap too for the quality

      I just dropped a couple significant videos that will really break down fading for you. Fade steps, three finger technique, and detailing. Only difference in this cut is the shape of the fade but you do it the same way
