in this video i'll be showing you around (the fun half of) my room and the collection i've amassed over the years :)
i definitely will be moving some things around when i have more time and inspiration, but for now this is pretty much it.
i hope you guys enjoy hearing me talk about the stuff i've hyperfixated on lol🤭
**for the $10,000 estimation, i rounded down to the nearest thousand and only added up the values of officially licensed figures (not including trading/gacha figures, video game statues, or amiibos) that are either shown or mentioned in the video.
for some of my older figures, the prices were converted using current exchange rates, and may not be accurate to what i paid in the past.**
edit: i got some of the scales wrong lol. alpha x omega emilia is actually a 1/8th and not a 1/7th

the long room tour is a lot better than a short one honestly, it's fun to actually get to know why you love your collection! also it was so fun seeing your collection be a hybrid of figures as well as series you're obsessed with that don't get many figures (mainly revue!) it made me feel a lot of kinship with my collection, which is figures + a ton of enstars merch for my favorite unit who of course will never have figures

Revue Starlight is based. Don't often see a lot of anime merch channels with Revue stuff at all.
I remember watching this videos and being surprised with the money spend in figures. Then I started collecting figures and end up spending almost the same amount of money as this video

thanks! i started seriously collecting figures for about 1-2 years but my first scale was from back in 2018! everything else I’ve been collecting for many years 😊
i watched this video then got curious abt starlight so i started watching it and thank god for this video cause it was SO GOOD!!!! i immediately got hooked onto the show and finished it in one day, i started the game not long ago and that’s also very fun. new favorite, top 10 for sure

All of those Black and White Genshin prints you have are amazing. I really dig the Raiden Shogun above your monitors, and the Shenhe on the other wall was really neat. Also Im super jealous of your Yae Sakura statue and the Raiden Mei, those are brilliant looking.

Thank you! I got the card holders from amazon a few years ago when they were super cheap. They’re the Ultra Pro 1/4" Screwdown Recessed Trading Card Holder. The stand comes separately and they’re the Ultra Pro Two Piece Small Stand😊

Thank you! I got them all from Amazon. The two on the right are Govee RGBIC leds, and the two on the left are generic ones.
I would recommend the govee ones if the prices aren’t too different!

i started buying figures more frequently over the last year or two, and anime merch around the last 3-4 years. everything else i’ve been collecting since i can remember🦭

I buy tcg w/o playing too. Got 3 cartons of Weiss Schwarz for characters/series I like. Also bought some Yugioh card even though I no longer play--I consider the escalation Konami pulling to be overly toxic, I just collect archtypes I like, mostly pretty old school ones.
Beyond that bit though, I'm afraid there aren't too many similarities. Of your figures, the only one I've got is the salter traveling outfit and the only one I would want would be the Misaka Mikoto(enough to consider buying anyway, many of your figures are very beautiful and would be nice to have in a vacuum but this is an expensive hobby). I did consider the Bakarina Nendroid but it lacked the face plate I wanted (I wanted the empty eyed look shown near the end of the EP of the anime).
To be fair, there are some character overlaps, I do have two Mikoto and the Bakarina scale, so it is also a matter of luck.
I think the biggest difference is that you are into Re:Zero and I'm not really(only one). You like Nendroid quite a bit while I'm extremely picky about those (only bought two so far). On the other hand, I'm pretty heavy into Fate and Tokisaki Kurumi(Not DAL, just her) and you don't seem to be. These constitute almost half of our respective collections.
I think you've got the most non-gacha game figures of anime collectors I've seen. I mean it's not that many but most anime collector tend to be somewhat exclusive. They either do not have any or only a few non-gacha game figures, with the Flare 2B being the most common. I specify non-gacha because Azur Lane, Arc Knight, FGO etc are HUGE in the "anime" figure space but are technically games. Anyway, it is nice to see some variety.
yeah, i just haven’t played a lot of the gacha games that are popular (only played arknights before dropping it because of salt lmao) so i’m a lot more hesitant when it comes to buying figures from them. but a couple of AL figures have piqued my interest and my eyes are open 👁👁

What do you do with all your boxes? The HoT Raiden Mei box is huge and I have an even bigger box coming in.
i store them in my closet but that’s pretty much out of room now 🥲

the big one with the calendar is from the naver webtoon store, and the postcards + regular acrylic stands are from the limited edition volumes that i got secondhand from mercari jp
