Please know, that God does keep His angels near us, but when we pass away, we do not "become angels". When (and if) we enter Heaven (through Jesus Christ), we humans have a higher standing than even the angels. Angels are created beings created by God to serve Him and others, to be His messengers, and ultimately to bring Him glory. Always be kind to strangers, because you never know when you're encountering and angel from God. If you ever encounter an angel, they are NOT to be worshipped as God is. When we pass away, and we're in Christ's presence, God creates for each of us, eternal bodies that are more beautiful and powerful than we can now imagine. Please also know that our deceased loved ones are instantly present with our Lord Jesus Christ the moment they pass away...they do not inhabit this world as we presently know it. (Yes, we are fully confident, and we would rather be away from these earthly bodies, for then we will be at home with the Lord. - 2 Corinthians 5:8) Satan who was God's most beautiful angel, along with one third of Heaven's angels, were kicked out of Heaven down to Earth because of Satan wanting to be worshipped as God is...and equal to Him. Satan was originally named "Lucifer", but now that He lives around us on Earth, along with the fallen angels...(who are now demons) Lucifer is now named "Satan" which means "the accuser". Please be very careful to not be deceived or distracted by paranormal activity on Earth, because you may be having an encounter with a demon or Satan himself who can disguise himself as an "angel of light" as is described in the Bible. Demons can make themselves look like a deceased loved one in order to distract us from God. (But I am not surprised! Even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. - 2 Corinthians 11:14)
