Welcome to the fight where you will DEFINITELY BE DODGING more than actually fighting, god Bombard is such a badass assbag, good fight even if he broke my chair
Man. This game was fascinating. This was actually my first time playing a LISA game and also the first time in a long, Long while to play an RPG, and a good one of that. I knew the LISA series before because many friends of mine are very fond to this series and one of them was very excited for the release of Timeless, he sent the trailer and... I was hooked immediately. From the music, the graphics, the characters and the dialogue, the trailer really sold me Timeless and actually got me waiting, I was not at the edge of my seat for it, but still. I played it on release day, and... I was stoked. The graphics were nice, the music was pleasant and the gameplay and story were good enough to got me thinking about them and make me want to play it until completion. I didn't finished it on my first run, I actually waited until a patch (I think i beat the game at my 4th run?) came out and the game was perfected in my opinion and I was so happy this was my first LISA experience. In fact, a friend of mine gifted me a copy of the og LISA, so I know what I'll be doing now...
Lisa the Timeless is actually rather distanced in gameplay, difficulty, toning and theme than the original game. Hell, it doesn't even mention Joy or Mutants other than Neg (which is very well hidden and doesn't even drop joy)
@@k2ggers961 I actually got to fight Neg, and I already know more or less what mutants are and what all the whole joy stuff is about, but my knowledge on that is pretty shallow and I would need to... you know... actually play the og LISA to understand it completly but yeah. I actually was wondering if starting with little to no experience with the series was a good idea, and even when I was finishing it I asked some of my friends if it was okay to start my journey like this, and they responded that yes, it is okay, and that some even started with other fangames, but I don't think it is fair to compare it to the other ones, because... well... Timeless is not even finished yet. And that just leaves me wondering still if it was a good idea or no
Ngl this entire game is just one giant fetchquest after another with a plot that's barely there at the moment but it was worth it just for this badass fight and coolio track.
In Pokémon Insurgence, there’s this point where you have to fight this group called “The Timeless” so i replaced the music for their leader with this song, I couldn’t resist
i dont think thats possible- if you approach him earlier in game, he turns you around and elton leaves, any attempt to further push just gets the same dialouge and turn around. it wasnt until after i learned how to dodge that the fight could be triggered, when i had motive to go past him bc of th demolition dudes. if you can fight him without it, im guessing he'd land the hit and you'd start with a chunk of health missing, but im inclined to believe youd just take the hit and walk away, as he doesnt initiate the real fight until he sees you dodge
Try getting him feel weird constantly (with Berny's boulder to the head), you can get some free extra damage that way and try to have some extra SP with Elton so you dodge some really painful hits when he gears up and try to only use healing items and fancy perfumes on Elton, Berny can sustain very well solo because of Flaming Mittens and because of the fact that he not only recieves TP from his Finger Beams, but because of damage as well. Also while he's feeling weird try throwing some dirty water (if you have some) to poison him and hit him with the bottle for the bleeding damage, just watch out for Elton's HP. Also, try having Goldenbody. It's just convinient. And do not try to blind him with Elton's cap throws, I think every time he gets blinded on the next turn he does an attack that might make you fall, so it really is not a good idea. That's all the (probably) usefull stuff I have in mind, probably you already knew all this and I'm just rambling around, either way, wish you luck for this fight!

Absolute best track. Gets me in the mood to be put in a funeral home.
This is definitely me when im being put in a funeral home.
Definitely me when I’m getting my spine turned into a pretzel
I love how this sounds like a 70s-80s western/action B-Movie score. It's so damn funky.
This song feels like it would somehow work on silly tf2 gmod animation
i would love to see that lol

He sent that chair straight to a funeral home
The term Badass Assbag is so new yet so fitting for him heheheheheh
they are all gangsters, until an old man breaks a metal chair with his bare hands
The Syndicate don't take kindly to nosey old men.

I just used the champion chair and he just broke it like nothing I was scared of the raw Power this man produce
Thats what i thought when he just grabbed my wooden chair and proceed to reduce it to atoms.
You gotta save the Champion's chair for the last hit! You never know if you're going to run into someone more dangerous.

Can't wait to see more of the Syndicate in the next part.

one of the best tracks for one of the coolest fights in the game, awesome job
I can't be the only one who thinks this sounds like it would be in a spy movie
Reminder that Bombard can fold and snap a steel chair barehanded.

this dude was so fucking cool
in my playthrough elton was slower than frank so i just had to rely on luck that i either timed elton's dodge right or that elton isnt the one hit
damn
unequip the pencils bro they make elton slow as molasses
the fight becomes a lot easier when elton can actually dodge instead of getting pummeled
Yeah this is the theme song of a man that can beat me to death
Genuine question, how in the sweet fucking Jesus can Frank Bombard just break a metal chair with his bear fucking hands?
He is too cool
