Glad to see someone putting premium in their classic, all vintage cars especially the American V8s need all the octane they can get, especially that 69 Cadillac Sedan DeVille I had .
I want to see a car like this with the Suter 500 MMX's 576cc V4 2 stroke engine; on the motorcycle it makes 195+hp, imagine a Subaru 360 with 195hp haha
I recall seeing these cars when they were new. I was living in high altitude city at the time. They could actually keep up with traffic while on a level freeway. An air cooled VW Bug looked large when parked next to this Subaru. I did not realize that the 360 cc engine was a two stroke. So equivalent to a 720 cc 4 stroke engine. No worse than a small FIAT back tgen.
$4.39 for a gallon of premium gas in Portland? That was the price for regular here in Southern California two weeks ago. Its gone up 30 cents since that time. And its expected to go up further as we get into the summer driving season. 😲
I must be old. I remember filling my 360 for a dollar. Cheapest gas I ever bought. $0.25 a gallon. I think that gas station was having a gas war. don't see gas wars any more. This was around 1970.
I didn't see this video, you know that if you push the flap up on the pump where the pump handle goes and leave the pump on your tank you can squeeze the handle and your full moneys worth as I do everytime I fuel. Watching you drive your commi van was a bit to much for me to accept.. I'm happy you can drive all your rigs , the i h micro is so unique that even though I have a guy my age on it , he is so slow which has prompt me to hire a 78 year old which will run circles around the current low low yield body guy.. I'm farming out the narrowed two piece tailgate to make it a one piece tailgate.. I'm south of Indianapolis. One I get home he frame welded, shifter working and the brakes operable, bolt the body parts solid and install a gas tank I'll bring to you for wireing 1/22/22??? Take care
The tank of my motorcycle holds 26 liters, good enough for +500 km. Does the US use motor or research octane grade? Over here in Europe we have 95/98/102 ROZ petrol.
I've become a minimalist. At my age, I drive slower, and for lesser distances. I want electric, but these little two strokes, dirty as they are, would probably suit me.
Always great to see you having fun with your micro cars. Have a wonderful day Mark!
Thank you, Yes I enjoy them immensely

Yes sir !
So amazingly maintained Subaru Ladybug 360(灬º‿º灬)♡
Have fun always as time goes by!
Engine sound is AMG-level just as brand-new!
Premium fuel is what should be run in those small high-compression 2-strokes anyway.
The effective compression ratio of 2 stroke angines is usually low unless we are talking about 2 stroke diesel engines.
The oil, either premix or oil injection, tends to lower the fuel octane…

It’s nice to be back to the little cars again
The cool factor is bigger than its size 😊
A great city car. Would love one of these in Toronto Canada....

Need one of those...even with a Stellar in the back seat👍👍🐶🐶🐶
And I thought $3.50/gallon of premium here in TX was high currently. I'm not going to complain next time I fill up lol
1 Buck cost difference to use Premium vs. Regular! When spread over 4.5 gallons.
Such a *cute little buzz-bomb!*
Ha ! Yes !
I still want a 360 van.. one day i guess
Love it

Did you just pump your own gas in Oregon ?
Okay, I wasn't the only one who saw that.
Yes. Shhhhhh!
Ha! We're at the equivalent of nearly $7/gal on this side of the pond (c. £1.35 per litre).
You can now pump your own gas in Oregon? Since when?!
I wish i had 1.
Great two stroke fun! What was the old wagon on the right when you pulled from the pump. The one with four round headlights?
Datsun 510
@@petermolnar2311 Thank you
Are the three point seat belts factory?
Yeah having fun is a pricey affair with cost of fuel these days, is she a twin cylinder?
Yes, 2 cylinder 2 stroke 360cc.
