I have started crying now every Kamala rally I watch, especially now with Tim Walz at her side. Not tears of sadness or fear, but tears of joy and relief at the thought and high probability that I can feel safe again in my own country. Kamala Harris and Tim Walz care so passionately and deeply about people and I feel that love and support every time I see them. I’m with you! My husband’s family has basically ostracized us from family events, and peddles fear. When the news came out that Kamala was taking the batton from Biden, I layed on the floor,, and cried for joy and pure relief. I didn’t realize how much stress I was under (how the stress of him being in power) was affecting my mental health until she stepped out!!
My daughter, a first responder of 18 years and a registered nurse, always rejected hearing or discussing anything about politics. Her take: I already deal with so much misery and pain, I cannot deal with more negativity and I understood. Then I told her about the Harris/Walz rally in Glendale (she is in AZ) and sent her a link. She opened the link and watched the rally and was so excited: I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it! It gives me hope! I think that says it all: it gives hope.

I was there tonight in the stadium. It was amazing - my first political rally attended ever. The room was ELECTRIC. The stadium was FULL. You could barely hear the mic at times due to the loud thunderous cheers and resolute Boos lol. So inspirational to be in the same room as these GOOD ENERGY candidates bringing back the JOY.

I am just an outsider (Dutch) watching what is happening. I am so happy and excited for USA citizens. You are having now a positive look on the future. Yes, for your country and all the other countries in the world there are major challenges currently and ahead in the near future. However with active and positive energy and united people, the chances of success are way higher than in an atmosphere of doom, gloom, hate and division.

I was at the rally today! Everyone there felt REAL true joy, hope and excitement at the event. I was happy to stand 90+ minutes in 108 degree heat to experience the energy of this fabulous duo and my fellow attendees. Unfortunately they had to turn away thousands of people because of the heat. People were passing out in the heat despite the water, air coolers and ice cream treats. The venue was really full. There were a few empty areas in the most upper sections. I suspect it would have been a full house if the heat was not an issue.
I will say that some people repeat lines of the speeches as they being spoken. So, I think stump speeches may need more components that are mixed and matched with the advent of social media.
We will not go back! 🎉

I’d say the most vulnerable that are elderly or individuals who have permanent disabilities and the homeless and the LGBTQAIP are always in need of help and they are the first ones forgotten. They deserve to be treated with respect and assistance as much as the middle class does too.

tbh.... we get shaped by what we see, and many times we still don't get women in the positions of power, and if they do it isn't covered. this is gonna do a LOT for that. i personally feel annoyed that the different types and aptitudes of people isn't all on display more. and that everything tends to get lumped into gender stereotypes.like one of my best friends - her dad was the more emotionally connected caretaker type. her mom was a lawyer and a bit of a workaholic and not so good with emotional stuff. then you have female service members or bodybuilders, etc, that could snap men like a twig or outperform them. in WW2 russia had a squad of women fighter pilots, because they were just out of soldiers. and they were the BEST shots amongst them all.
it creates a bad enviro on both ends, for both genders, if you are supposed to fit in this certain mold and you don't. being a caretaking type or being more intune with your emotions or having a higher EQ doesn't make you more feminine. you can be masculine af. but that stereotype really just.... it's so persistent. or that all boys and men should be repressed, not ever shed a tear, or show a feeling. that psychologically messes people up.
you can have women who are hardass, men who aren't. either can be quiet and demure, or boisterous or leaders. it's a PERSONALITY thing. not a gender thing.

Yes, please check because mine and 2 other family members were changed to "Inactive". I was told that it was because they had a notice (note) that we had moved out of state. Not true, so I had to register again. Then I watched a video that in other states they were doing the same. The media should be talking more about this.
Yes. After 90 days they cannot remove you any more, but if you have been made inactive or removed you have some time still to fix this. So, we are in the final run to make sure you are on the ballot. You can go online to your election clerk.

I live in a rural trump area in MN. Last two presidential elections saw masive trump signs and flags. This year signs have been taken down by people and not as many put up! Still too many, but it is extremely hopful that people are waking up!
