Thanks. The wooden framed caravans are generally pretty simple in their construction, yes there is a lot of screws 😩😩. The lift requires a good amount of patience, a little tricky with this one as the chassis is broken in the front. The lift starts tomorrow.
Awesome video. You'll probably answer this in the next video, but why are you lifing the frame off the chassis? Is it just to make it easier to work on the chassis?
@@ryancrossley950Three reasons. 1 the floor boards are sandwiched between the chassis and the wooden frame, parts of the floor need replacing. 2 some of the joists that the floor is attached to are rotten 3 sections of the front of the chassis have completely rusted away, removal of the floor is required to rebuild the chassis and fully paint it for future proofing.
