Excellent western movie. Parched mountains, shallo streams, mud roads curving a long way, mine location, all are a feast to the eyes. Fantastic duel scenes and a nice ending. Love this film. No such films are today.

I got hooked on Spaghetti Wedterns many moons ago. Morricone scores are legendary.. Most of these were made in Europe, Italy, Spain, etc.. Mostly Italy somebody once told me on here.. Is that true??

LOL I love how in these old westerns they like completely ignore the laws of physics and how bullets work lol my favorite type of western movie. Hollywood kind of lost a step when it comes to making these spaghetti Westerns.
There were tire tracks near the beginning after the undertaker and outrider went by him. Interesting how he cooled himself down in the trough but after his horse “cooled down” ( course it was probably never warmed up) he never let the horse drink. Love that screw on barrel extension. At first I thought it was gonna be a suppressor. These spaghetti westerns are a blast sometimes with their take on the old west.

Yes, once 1 was led into a enclosement(?) with dried grass... and once where they all got to drink from a river. But never checking if the horse is OK, thanking ot. I suppoese they eitherdon't want to waste film time on it, fear that it might make the men look weak -when the opposite is true, or that we wouldn't be that interested in animal welfare.Or simply forgot? Since on the set, these horse would get watered and fed behind the scenes in any case...
@@Medietos I understand that the animals are cared for off the set by the wranglers. I know they aren’t being denied feed and water. It just looks more realistic if it shows the riders caring for them. Any cowboy that didn’t take care of his horse before himself was considered useless and would sometimes be fired for it. I just get a bit picky about realism too much according to my wife.
Always like these B Spaghetti westerns . From the campy acting to the set and background mistakes . In this one you can see a lot of it is filmed in a working quarry with truck and tractor tire marks in the soil still. But one of the works errors was them leaving the excavator teeth marks in the soil where it has been digging away at the ledge . On top of the ledge its clear it was smoothed with a bulldozer . lol In the western town scene near the end all the windows are covered over so you cant see the interiors ( that don't exist as its a movie set. In some westerns you can see modern electrical lines way in the background :) Lots of fun to watch

I remember making fun of my dad for watching these, but here I am watching these and seeing why my dad liked them.

Killing is a nasty business, but what takes the ugliness away is the spicy and witty dialogue in these Westerns . Balu, india
