A’Yao kidnapped Wei Wuxian as well and told him that Lan Zhan will be joining them in the temple soon . To this, Wei Wuxian told A’Yao that Lan Zhan won’t come looking for him. A’Yao replied that Lan Zhan can’t leave his precious behind so he will surely come. Wei Wuxian was in disbelief and then Lan Xichen, who couldn’t hold it anymore, told Wei Wuxian how Lan Zhan broke the rules and got punished (back lashes) just to save him (Wei Wuxian) in burial mounds and how he cursed Lan Zhan who deeply loved him. Wei Wuxian was shocked and told Xichen that his memories after battle got all faded out. Xichen was angry with Wei Wuxian for being so ignorant towards Lan Zhan’s feelings. I listen to music over and over again just to make sure the different between the same song the first song sound was very clam but the second song was very fast and had more note into the song and the sound feel like more aggressive.

I think he meant more about trusting the person without any concrete evidence or seeing the proof themselves. Lan Xichen is a very righteous person and will base his decisions on facts. LWJ and WWX were able to provide info about the music used which is why he brought them to the libtary to look for the source/music score.
Wwx is known for being a genius and also uses music based cultivation. Plus, wwx isn't a suspect, like, he's been dead for 16 years and met lwj straight away he can't exactly have done anything. Xichen trusts lwj judgement of wwx but doesn't directly trust wwx.

If u r saying about the novel world, most probably the Lan Sect can speak Gusu dialect, but since there r many Sects involve they use their normal Chinese to communicate just like how we use Eng, our universal language even though we're from different countries. However, if it's for the readers/audiences like us it's easier for us listeners to understand using normal Chinese rather than with strong accent or dialects.

U watch the final season of ep 24 the dialect is similar to Sichuan Dialect. However, as I've said the Lan sect probably have mastered the Gusu dialect, but they speak normal Chinese with other Sects coz not everyone knows the Gusu dialect other than people who r born/live there. Why was Wei Ying able to pull out his sealed sword in this episode (well, the previous episode) when later in the story, Wen Ning explains to Jiang Cheng that he was given Wei Ying's golden core which allowed him to pull out the sword from scabbard as well and that Wei Ying had to master dark arts because of losing the golden core?
Because Suibian still recognized Wei Ying as its true master even in Mo Xuanyu's body. It mistook Jiang Cheng for Wei Ying because of the golden core transfer.
