Cristine, I wanted to thank you for telling us about the best one coat black and the best holo top coat. I tracked down both. I live in a care home and we do nails every Monday. I’m the young one of the bunch at 52. I now have several “blue hairs” asking to have their nails painted black with Holographic Pearls as a topper. I do add a glossy coat of the Seche Vive gel effects just to make that holo sparkle even brighter. Thanks again for your humour and insight. Holo thanks from Kansas.

Northern lights is very light, and all the holo sinks to the bottom. You have to shake it up. It is a fast drying top coat made by Out the Door. It comes in the silver like in the video, but in gold also, which is also nice. I get it at Sally Beauty Supply. (Jan Griffiths, on hubby's account).
I haven’t been able to do my nails in a few years (hand shakiness), but northern lights was my absolute go to for a holo taco. I could get a night sky look and sponge it on if I wanted more. I really liked how colorful and saturated it was and the control I could get from it.

Not true, some polishes smear nail art a lot more than others and some are better for adding gloss and some take sparkle to the next level as well as some not wearing off as quickly as others.

I just bought an amazing linear holo top coat in sally's beauty supply from the brand finger paints (I don't know if it's available everywhere, because I live in Mexico) and I fell madly in love with it because it's super holo but it's not extremely concentrated that it doesn't let you see the color underneath. I've been making any nail polish color I wear HOLO

I just bought an amazing linear holo top coat in sally's beauty supply from the brand finger paints (I don't know if it's available everywhere, because I live in Mexico) and I fell madly in love with it because it's super holo but it's not extremely concentrated that it doesn't let you see the color underneath. I've been making any nail polish color I wear HOLO
I just picked up the same top coat. I live in the US, so I know it's available in US sally locations
