Good log movement! We are running low on all firewood! Good year for sales even without advertising. I’m already behind for next year.😂 Take care Sir Chris👍🏻👍🏻GNI
Good morning Chris!!😀😀 Wish I could have been able to come up with my forwarder. Could have sorted the two piles in a couple hours. Take care my friend!!😀😀💚
Hey Chris my 2 oldest and I have bien collecting pallets, I just bought a kinetic 40 ton splitter and I have a John Deere skid steer and decks and decks of logs so we’re makin a go of it for next year firewood and I ain’t stacking nothin any more lol 😂 also got a moisture meter. Thanks for you help in all this man It means a lot. Anyway very exited I’ve always bien outdoors with my children in God beautiful nature.
I've always admired your work ethic, hoping I can even come close by time my youngest starts school. As for today, she's only watching for the tractor 😂 have a great day Chris, be safe!
Hi Chris, I've been burning hawthorn logs. Found an old dead tree in the woods . Cut it into 5 foot logs with my bow saw. It was rotten in parts with nasty beetle grubs inside. Burns really hot and makes excellent coals. Just need to watch those thorns!
There's a lot more to running a good sized firewood operation than meets the eye eh Chris. Good video and very good explanations. Thanks. Cheers from HB NZ
I’m going to seriously wish I had equipment soon! I just started working on a logged 180 acres full of slash and top wood piles piled way too high for hand cutting. Good thing I went back to working with a one ton vs a half ton so I can rip piles apart
Because oak is very heavy when green and it takes 2 years to dry and always in high demand, I charge twenty dollars more per face cord than mixed hardwoods. Hickory, cherry, beech and apple are also at my premium price. For my budget minded heating people, I recommend locust and hard maple for the $130.00/ !/3rd cord mixed hardwood price. Forty years ago when I first started selling firewood I only sold oak, then I realized some fireplace people prefer faster burning mixed hardwoods.
Its really to bad more people are not educated on but of diffrent wood for smoking meat and burning. Hard maple, oak, hickory and cherry all heat and smoke foods well. Locust hedge burn hot and are best used for heating. Keep educating people love your videos.
Chris, why don't you load the processor with some logs while you already have them picked up instead of putting everything into a new pile? I know it would only be ten or twelve logs but seems odd driving past the processor to only pick it up later again
Great content, as always! Just a quick off-topic question: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). What's the best way to send them to Binance?
Fun video. I have spent several hours trying to find the 16 way box wedge. Rewatched a ton of my favorites. I have made it all of the way back to you unloading it. I can’t find it being run on the processor. If you have time could you please add it to the watch list for the processor please? Either way keep up the good work and have a wonderful day.
Another good video from professor Chris you got questions he has answers that we all understand keeping busy is good running low on supply is not my friends tree company does a volume wood thing I guess you call it three crews bringing in wood hard woods are oak hickory cherry has apple for smoking but maple hard or soft ash hedge most go into mixed wood pile to be split and sold went down before Thanksgiving Wednesday and had trucks and trailers lined up for wood for holidays sold a lot and still have a bunch but just saying everyone does stuff different but they have been doing it 50 years and it works paid both ways just saying like when asked you about boiler wood not called that here but have one at business and owners home so asked and you answered my question thank you been in it a while but still learning and if people have questions like now even though not working tell them to look your channel up has thousands of videos and I believe at one time you covered there questions thanks again Chris always interesting watching and learn a thing are two and I bounce off how we do it at the lot down here I told you we measure trailers for footage wise then heard you talking about that I think easier for people to understand that cause gives the length width and height so cover it all thanks for posting Chris be looking for other videos I run across some haven't seen yet still looking have a great day my friend
@@InTheWoodyard your a good man Chris and everyone learns a lot watching are if you are with someone else you show their products and explain it so we understand all and thanks for all the personal videos lol thanks again have a good evening
Gotta be careful in those big piles. I would rather have good solid ash than oak. Hard maple burns cleaner than oak and usually combusts cleaner. Oak splits nice and burns long but there are a lot of woods I like better than oak.
I’ve been bingeing on your channel. Permission to come aboard guys. Awesome channel coming from a maritimer 🤠👍💯
Thanks so much Cabinman! You have 1600 videos here and a new one every morning!
@ wow 🤩
I know I’ve been watching u lots before
A lots changed in 2 years! Love the species piles, and it looks like stacking was your previous production-bottleneck. Love it!
Yes! Thank you!

Yup, I had fun for a while playing with the tractor!

Awesome...keep cuttin'!
That tractor and grapple is a must tool!! I use my skid steer with my wood!! I only cut for myself!! Definitely enjoy your videos!!
Yup, hydraulics are a wonderful thing!

Go for it! Just keep movin'!

Thanks Ron!
I remember you showed us before….
Let’s get cutting!😊
yup, very soon.
Good morning Chris, sure is nice to see you using a tractor and not standing on them logs bucking them up. Great filming my friend.👍🇺🇸
Thanks 👍 but I will be standing on them and bucking soon!
Great video!! Hope you get your inventory built back up with dry wood, quickly!! Stay Hydrated and Have a Safe Day
Thanks, I hope so too!
I remember when the grapple was your nemesis. You have slayed the dragon.
Yup...from troubled child to prodigy.
@InTheWoodyard We are not worthy.
Some fancy grapple skills today. LOL. Happy Thanksgiving !
I don't know about fancy... but I did have fun!

Nice video Chris. I know you have fun with the tractor/grapple. Cool 8F here this morning. Putting on the long handles to work outside today. GNI
Yup, winter is now here too!
Good morning all!
Hello!!
Gotta have a good grapple to work those piles.
Yup, the grapple is the best attachment!
Nice pile of logs 😊
Yup!

I love Locust! It's my #1 favorite for my wood stove.

I did you will see that soon, lots of logs.
Tractor seat time with Chris. 👍🏻👍🏻
You got that right!
I have been splitting and tossing in the trailer the last month. It's been nice. 😉👍
That is awesome!
Yeah yeah, numero uno today😂😂😂
Nice job...GOLD STAR WINNER!
@InTheWoodyard thankyou berry berry mucho

Hello Bobby!
Good morning woodhounds.
Morning!

It seems like nothing is the right size for the processor lately.
Ha! I will do some when I get time..deliveries are job one now.
I was hoping that the video on the day after Thanksgiving would be titled....."Biggest, Steamiest Dumps Ever!"😂😂😂
Every dump is the biggest!
More wood!
What's in that small pile on the end of the pad next to the big piles you was working on in this video???
cherry
@InTheWoodyard thanks
You should try cutting those smaller logs while you have them up off the ground in your tractor grapple.....(Easier on the back and saw)
I have done that and it is nice but very slow, lots of on and off the tractor cutting in a pile is twice as fast, you will see it here soon.
Gotta be careful in those big piles. I would rather have good solid ash than oak. Hard maple burns cleaner than oak and usually combusts cleaner. Oak splits nice and burns long but there are a lot of woods I like better than oak.
Great point!
How many hours do you have on the tractor now? Should give us a review sometime.
560ish I did at 500....
@ thank you. I will look for it.
G’morning Chris. Smooth movements from the number one tractor operator in the valley. How’s the 7310 ? Havnt seen it for awhile. GoodNightIrene
Hello, thanks. Soon many of the chain saws will be getting some exercise.
Most excellent !
🎉👍
Thanks!
Time to size the logs.
Yup!
Do you know of a company that sell big men chainsaw chaps. I am 6ft 8
Try Bailey's on the west coast... Sacramento area eye believe...
Husqvarna has several sizes in there full wrap chaps.
That wood is ready to sell and burn.
Yup, that is the plan!
Which one isdry
The small stuff.
👍🏻👏👍🏻
Thanks!
Hope the poor kitties werent in the woodpile! :(
The kitties are not poor and they run when there is loud noises.
Good Morning Woodhounds!!! Time to work off those Thanksgiving Food calories!!
Yup...lots of spare calories on my body now!
