I am an experienced guitar player but on a budget. I just bought one for $230. After the bridge started to lift up on my old acoustic/electric. It is in the same color as the one in this video. And I love it. I did have to sand the bottom of the saddle to lower the action because it was a bit high. By far it has a much better tone than my old acoustic/electric. I have always had a thing for Blue acoustic guitars that why this one caught my eye.
Any recommended budget side electric acoustic that has super strong bridge reputation, i do finger style more than chords but i still want something for time and durability and durable guitar recommendations?
I've had an APX 6a for 28 years now. These days I string it with 10's and it's still my back up guitar for live gigs and teaching. If I lost it I'd buy an APX 600 as soon as possible. Great guitars.
Update: ended up purchasing this guitar. Couldnt be more satisfied after a week of use. Coming from a dreadnought the apx600 delivers a much better sound when it comes to mid - low end in comparison to the dreadnought. Also a great feel for extended use.
Go with APX 600 as I played both for hours and decided to go with Apx 600. Playing it last 6 months and no regrets at all Best is the size and comfort playing for hours has no impact on hands and back
Loud enough for what? Its less loud and less rich sounding than a jumbo acoustic so if you are playing unplugged with jumbo players you will be drowned out. Its a trade off between functionality and volume.

A very helpful and balanced review, thank you.
Glad it was helpful!
Great timing on this review as I just found a liking to this guitar at the center.

@@vastjayk6976 is it ok for bending etc. Bridge is a bit up according to a expert
Great review! Just bought a flame Maple and Flame Maple burst, nice guitars for gigging. Sounds great plugged in.
I considered the Ibanez Talman and this APX600. The Yamaha definitely sounds great given its thin body.
Just getting started. Can you use the same kind of amp you would use on an electric?
Very good review 👍
Glad you liked it!
Hi I just want to ask. What guitar strings you are using?thanks
D'addario Nickel Bronze 10-47.
You really should mention that this is an all laminate guitar meaning tonewoods matter little.
hate when youtube guitar reviewers say the wood but not wether or not it is solid or laminated/layered
Hi there ❤
Can i use this guitar Apx600 for blues and country style??
Comparing this Yamaha APX600 with Fender FA 125CE, which one is more recommended..?
For the electroacustic part the apx600, for a cheaper option but only acoustic go with the FA115 if you can
What is the best string gauge for this guitar please?
Hi, between Yamaha APX600 & Fender FA235E which would you choose and why? Can you share a product comparison between these two products?

@@avishekrc yup, APX600 is a good choice.. thanks, bought last week
@@achilis1107do you like it? What can you say after 7 months of usage?
Does it have a truss rod?
Also, compared to Ibanez PC33CE, which is better?
Thanks!!
Yes has a truss rod.
sounds pretty flat to me......
Unfortunately for the dude playing the intro, it doesn't come with one of those robot tuners built in.
Absolute piece of junk don't let this review fool you it's a crappy hollow sounding laminate guitar
I wouldn't go that far but they have a reputation for HIGH action not low. The tone ain't great. Its is what it is: a small body amplified acoustic.
Foolish comment, not review.
how does it sounds unplugged? is it loud enough?
It's my go to acoustic definitely loud enough
It sounds great unplugged. It's definitely loud enough!
