That was still real quality... and innovation. When I think of many of today's quick-assembled cans where the sheet metal is thinner than a postage stamp...
These BX boards are very flexible. Many people like to overclock these by changing the FSB from 100 to 133, but the BX never is really stable at 133 for long. A simple solution is to buy a good slocket that can handle a P3 1.1. The p3 1.1 at 100 fsb was the last one at that bus speed.. I Have a BX board similair to this that has a slocket with a 1.1 ghz P3 at 100 FSB with 512 ram and a gf 5900. If you want to go higher than that on these boards you have to oveclock.. The two other ways if you want performance is a intel 815, or 845. The 815 is great but limited to only 512 mb of ram compared to the bx that support over 700 mb.. Thats a shame really as the 815 can handle the p3 tualatin up to 1.4 ghz with a agp 4x port, Yes I got one of thoose to...
@@RETROCENGO Tualatin is great.. But my dream would be to have an intel 845 with isa from a good brand, then you have USB 2.0 and a lot of ram and possibilities
